It really is liquid gold. I thought because it wasn't oily, it wouldn't moisturize my skin. But it really does work and a little goes a long way here! I usually put this on when my skin is still damp from the shower. But I've tried it on dry skin and it works amazingly that way too. I think this box is a good way to get acquainted with Peculiar Roots products and how they work on your locs. I really like the pomade and refresher spray! I also find the oil is not too greasy after I applied it to my scalp and hair, which is a big plus. The mousse did a decent job on holding my two strand twists. Will definitely buy the pomade, refresher spray and oil again for my hair as they all provide a great retwist with hold AND moisture, which is what my hair needs.
