Bought 5 2021 monthly planners for my kaiako workmates as I go on maternity leave next year. Currently our kaiako learning te reo and have daily maramataka updates. Pretty cool for a mainstream kura. The only pakihi i thought of was tuhi. Nga mihi

Love the Hine Raumati planner. The pohutukawa design is beautiful, it was the thing that made me look twice at the planner because that is what christmas in Aotearoa is. Love the fact it was delivered in Te Reo Māori as well as the translation for those learning. Loved the inclusion of the moon phasing, I will definitely be using this section of the planner to the full potential. Really well thought out. And the layout works well!

I've really enjoyed learning about maramataka, not having specifically or more so, consciously referenced it growing up in our whanau. Our whanau have always lived off the resources available on land and sea so I'm sure maramataka would have played a big part but I have never heard it formally discussed. This resource has helped me start understanding moon phases, energy levels and when certain things are better to be done, and to slow down to really feel and experience.
