Was looking for beans after I returned to Malaysia and was served a good cup in Penang. Went to the Barista and he told me that they bought it from Forest Cloud so I had to give it a try. A good selection comes with this box for trial tasting. Haven’t tried all but lunarfall had a good malty aftertaste, with a hint of sweetness to it, which was perfect for my mid-day at work coffee.

Orders on repeat for this lovely Zebigi coffee beans for me. Can never get enough of them. The acidity is crisp but not sharp with deeper notes of sweetness from molasses and light tastes of prunes. This is one of my favourites beans from Forest Cloud besides Guji Shakiso.

I love this variety box as I get to try each flavor before deciding my favorite. I can safely say that all 5 flavors are nice but my favorites are Ran, An and Yun matcha. I love how bold the matcha flavors are at different degrees for each one of them and how vibrant the colors are. I think it'll be great if you can include the Japanese Matcha in the variety box too. Anyways, I will definitely repurchase my favorites.

This is my first matcha powder order ever, and I can understand now why people would go to the trouble of making it at home! Making matcha lattes with this Shiru Matcha is so good. I have found my Matcha. Having tried a number of different matcha and disliked most of them I am so happy to have found this one. I tried it in the cafe in Georgetown Penang and I knew it was the one for me. Bought the packet and it tastes just as good at home with coconut water or milk. It’s sweeter than most and definitely does not taste of seaweed or vegetables. I will continue to buy this one.

Although it’s written Espresso Blend on the package but it works well with auto drip coffee maker too. Love the smooth and chocolaty taste while in the mouth and its slight sweet fruity aftertaste which indicate the beans are fresh

Bought the set few weeks ago, the seller emailed me before/after i receive the purchase and i didnt manage to reply as I accidentally deleted the email. But it was a nice gesture on their side. I love the bamboo whisk and spoon, still need to practice on how to properly use it. Not the correct person to say how the authentic the matcha taste like, i find it acceptable to my liking.
