Beautiful bed. Easy to put together and fill. I bought both the original and tall 6 in 1. They are both high quality and I believe will last a long time. I bought the tall thinking I needed the height, which will be easy to plant and work in, however the original height is very good and easier to fill with soil. The tall holds a lot of dirt.

We now have SIX 6-in-1, 15-inch Birdies Beds that my husband put together in a particular arrangement. My garden is in full view of the street and all my neighbors, and the Birdies Beds look so good AND they hold so much soil! We put down gravel and gopher wire first, then put together the 2 thirty inch deep beds. With 2 people the work was quite easy. Once in place we did as you recommended - we filled the bottom half with logs and garden debris. Then added the dirt. Now begins the fun of planting! Can't wait!

These beds are amazing. Built supper strong, I have no doubt they will last a lifetime. The extra height of the tall beds means no bending or awkward posture. This was super simple to assemble myself and took very little time. I’m prepping it with the Hugelkultur method for the Spring of 2025. I choose the dark grey color because it’s my favorite color and matches my house and shed. The one thing the instructions need to specify is to make sure that the top edges align and are even around the top edge. It will make putting the black plastic edging around the top rim easier. I plan on purchasing a match for this one later on.

I love the versatility of the 15” bed. The fact that I can configure it into 5 different styles is so cool. I am not limited to just one. It’s perfect for my fall crops. Plus it was really easy to assemble. I am probably going to order a second one so that I can line the on either side of my walkway. This way I can trellis vining plants over it to make an amazing edible arbor!

We have a "few" of these beds. Last year we had the smaller size and now we're adding the larger 8-1 size. These beds are seriously top quality and produced the best garden I've ever had. Filled with logs, brush, leaves, shredded paper etc. Top 6 inches with a mel's mix type soil. You can't go wrong and Kevin gives awesome customer service!

Perfect size for growing healthy seedlings with great roots. Easy to get out of trays. Don’t need my trusty plastic fork anymore. This was relatively easy to assemble. I had a wooden box that needed replacement. So I wanted to try this 4x8 so I don’t have to bend over as much. I tore the old down and slide this one right over the existing dirt. I had to dig out the corners, no big deal. My only suggestion is the plastic rim covers. I truly wish they were silicone.
