The difference between what can be labelled a "stichtite" and a "purpurite" seems to be a blurry one, as far as I can tell. This pendant and the stichtite-labelled ring I got a couple of years ago are very clearly the same type of gemstone, but there must be some minute difference in the composition, for the sake of the labelling. At least if my understanding is right. Nevertheless, I'm glad to have finally gotten the ring a matching pendant!!!

Well, beyond all hope! How wonderful it was, that this pendant which I first purchased back in the summer of 2023 but did not receive back then - as I noted in my first review, thanking you for the refund - not only was there in the warehouse all along, but that I managed to browse the website soon enough after she was brought back on offer, that I could try for her again! Those two types of mosaic opal you brought in a month or so ago were all so captivatingly lovely; I'm so glad I was able to get a pendant of the blue-green variety!!! I hope to one day get one of the more rainbow-patterned ones as well. For now, I'm think I will put this one in with my Andamooka opals, or with my Aurora and Aurora-dot opals!
