It works great at warming your food. I brought it for road trip and keep my food with ice packs. I plug it for about an hour and I have warm lunch. It is better than using stainless steel food Jar features vacuum insulation because the later one will make your food not smell so good after keeping warm for hours. It also comes with a plastic small box inside the stainless box which is very convenient to separate your food. Love it!

I had leftover lasagna and long green beans. I placed a serving of each inside the metal liner after dinner and refrigerated it over night. In the morning I placed the metal liner inside the lunch box and took it with me. I added a little water right before turning on the lunch box and in a few minutes I ate warm lasagna like it was fresh out of the oven.

ORDER # 92973 - This order was a JOKE! RED FLAG 1 - NO BOXES. Which means No ingredients listed - No Instructions. All patches were packed together in a white mailing pack.
