Okay I love the 5 button closure so I grabbed my normal size because that 5 button can sometimes tighten the waist. I should have gone smaller! I ordered the 29s and will need the 27s for a really snug fit across my waist. They are definitely more of a charcoal versus deep black like the Tanya. I love them.
