I initially made a purchase of Tea and Ginger and Relentless. I was also sent a small sample of Sandlewood and Amber which I instantly fell in love with. All 3 shaving soaps have allowed a normal shave schedule of 1/day change to once every 2-3 days. This has greatly reduced irritation of my facial skin. I highly recommend all 3 of the scents listed above. I look forward to trying other scents but need to use what I have now. And it WILL get used.

I just started using "Old Goat" and I love it. I'm sensitive to strong scents, perfumes, colones etc.. so I have to be careful of what I use on my skin. Love this soap! I'm on at least my third re-order of Fresh Start at this point, and I'll never go back to bottled body wash goop again. It lathers richly, easily, in hard or soft water. It feels and smells great, and rinses clean. Much like their shaving soaps, Cooper and French bath bars are the best performing part of my grooming line-up!

The soaps in this sampler pack are excellent. My favorites are the sandalwood and amber and the barbershop soaps. It really helps moisturize your face, and if you work up the proper lather the razor just glides across your face with these soaps. I would recommend these soaps to anyone, even people that aren't into wet shaving just yet.

Great soap that really adds to the shaving experience. Works great for a wash in the shower before shaving with the Authentic Barber shave soap, and finishing it off with the matching balm. Cooper & French shaving soap came as a wonderful surprise into my wet shaving world. I have roughly 40 soaps and half as many creams and forgotten so many over the 15 years I've been practicing "traditional" shaving. Cooper & French is an elegant and superb soap. It provides rich lather, wonderful fragrance, and luxurious cushioning. I ordered several fragrances, and plan to order more soon. This is a top tier product all the way.

I have a meeting this afternoon, so I thought I would get a shave in, and try another one of the samples from C&F. I decided 'Fresh Start' was an appropriate name for a big interview. My first thought on the scent was my least favorite of the samples I got. It gave off a sharp scent, that came off as a mix of almond, cedar, and something else I couldn't quite put my....mustache... on. I had a chance to use Old Goat today. Wonder scent, and soap. It is easy to lather, and it creates a very thick, slick and protective lather in no time at all. It is not a very thirsty soap (doesn't require a lot of water to build a good lather), I had enough after about a 10-15 second build for at least 5-6 passes! Although this scent does not smell exactly like Old Spice, it is in that same family, and a great scent regardless.

Actually, the fragrance Cooper & French crafted in Old Goat is the purest distillation of the raw essence of manliness anywhere. Same goes for their take on all the traditional favorite shaving scents of Sandalwood & Amber, Run Runner, and Authentic Barber. Their soaps outperform any other in smooth glide, rich lather, cushion for the blade, slickness, and excellent scent!

I really love your shaving soaps, I actually enjoy shaving now. I really do love the scents of the soaps, but the two large shaving soaps that I got this year, unfortunately do not smell like the samples that I got last year. I do understand each batch is handmade, I owned a candle company in the 90's and early 2000's, so I know some things can be off a little, but these don';t smell anything alike. Initially there was an issue with the order, however this was corrected immediately. So kudos for customer service. So after a few uses with the shaving soap and aftershave I can say that the soap performs amazing. The right amount of slickness during the shave, good balanced post shave feel. Lathered right out of the container and it creates a wonderful thick lather good enough for a 2-3 pass shave. Now for the scent (Leading Man).....I prefer a scent that is mid-strong to strong (5-8 range) ...
