I wanted a solid stick, custom umbrella that was more than a pretty face. The wood is beautiful and the action is smooth and very well done. The cane is very solid, and it could certainly be used as a cane in a pinch. I wouldn't make a habit of it, as one wouldn't want to wear down the horn end piece. This is a wonderful pair of trousers! The level of make is really high and it has excellent design points of well-placed deep single pleats, bar tacks, etc. The fit is form-following, but not slim. If in doubt get a size up for a classic fit. If very lean, opt for true to size. I got both 32 and 34 and am super happy with the fit on both. Only Italians can do that. Excellent balance to the garment. The fabric is pleasantly light but appears durable. Look forward to wearing these as a staple.

I like the quality not happy with the size. I'm a 40. You have 2 charts on the web site for sizes, the general chart show 7,5 to be 40 but when you order you get a different message on the add to cart screen and it show 7,5 to be a 40,5. I didn't see the second chart till I received the shoes and went back to see if I order the wrong size or I was shipped the wrong size. I only looked at the 1st chart.
