Hello, I'm a 63 year old man that has been doing resistance training most of life since High School mostly with free-weights and machines. After multiple training injuries over the last decade, I started looking for a different way to train that would make me less susceptible to injury as well as joint pain. I learned about resistance bands and bought a highly regarded system and started using it it in May of 2023. It didn't take me long to realize how effective and safe training with resista...

This bar is REALLY solid and well made. I have never seen or tried the newest version, but this one is great and a real value. I can find zero flaws or blems. Get one!

There were three things that struck me in a real positive way about the purchase of the black (factory second) plate. First, it was very well packaged and arrived nicely sealed. Second, my wife and I were surprised by just how heavy the plate was. We were expecting something plastic and hollow, but this thing is SOLID! And third, we could not find anything wrong with it. We thought we might find a chip or blem, but this plate is perfect as far as we can tell. We're very impressed with Harambe an...

Having received my Harambe T-Bundle a few weeks back, I want to say I am very impressed by the high quality and construction of the entire kit. Unfortunately, due to a painful shoulder injury I sustained prior to receiving my Harambe system, I have not been able to workout for any significant amount of time. Hoping to heal and recover from the injury soon. And ready to commit to the recommended workout schedule. At 64, injuries don’t heal as quickly as I would like :-). However, I am de...

I am a fan of old-school training journals and have been writing down the details of my workouts for over 30 years. I usually just use a plain spiral notebook. It is very cool to have a dedicated place in which to track my progress as I explore the many options of using the Harambe System.

I’m not one to normally review things but felt the need to make an exception. Just completed my first Harambe L work out (x3 pull, one set to failure, with a few extras-shrugs, pull aparts, Ferro and drag curls). Here’s my impression. First of all the bar itself. Packaged really well. Not just tossed in a shipping box. It was almost like unpacking a piece of jewelry. You can easily see the pride the manufacturer has in his product. The ropes and rods packaged individually in their o...

I always wanted to invest in a squat rack but unfortunately I don’t have the space for a squat rack. I was gonna originally gonna pull the trigger and purchase an X3, but after seeing the add for the harambe system I decided to purchase that instead. So far I love the system, I’m happy I can finally incorporate heavy squats and deadlifts into my workouts now. If you’re someone who is on a budget looking to save space with equipment, then harambe is the way to go.

I doubt I could tell the difference between these blems I received with my K system vs brand new if they were both right in front of me. Really do appreciate that discount though, and love being able to change how I use my bands in addition to the bar now. The whole Harambe system is amazing to work out with - from someone who shied away from bands out of fear of injuring myself due to cheap, poorly made tension equipment. For dipping my toes into resistance band training I wanted the best ...

I have been a professional Strength and Conditioning coach for over thirty years. I have tried just about every tool that has come along and the Harambe System is by far the best Band-Based strength system I have ever used. The custom Cork Block is a fantastic edition to my Harambe training. It is such a simple idea, but it makes training with the Harambe System both safer and more efficient. I highly recommend that you pick one of these up A.S.A.P.

This thing is amazing! Such an upgrade from previous footplates I have used. The UHMW material feels amazing on the feet and the self lubricating properties of it are easy on the bands and make lifts so smooth. Cross channels open up so much versatility for movements including lying down bench which is a game changer. While expensive, the quality is incredible and worth every penny. Combine that with the amazing service of Harambe and Khalid and you can’t go wrong buying this footplate. Highly r...

If you have a history of weight lifting and using EZ curl bars for bicep and tricep work, this bar is going to feel right at home with your Harambe setup. I can tell that Harambe System did their homework to determine the perfect curvature of the bar which would optimize hand placement for various movements. This bar is the real deal, and I would definitely recommend it being purchased as an add on to your Harambe System if Harambe is your primary means of working out. I would recommend that ...

I've got a garage gym with a power rack, deadlift platform, kettlebells, dumbbells, you name it. They're all great, but as an older lifter I've been feeling more beat up after my workouts. The Harambe system could replace virtually my entire gym; if you get a little creative with the bars and handles, there aren't many lifts you can't do with Harambe. Best of all, I can push hard without the tweaks and twinges I've come to expect with free weights. Squats and deadlifts are especially good us...

As meaningless at it seems, this cork block is incredibly useful. It's another representation of purposeful engineering by Harambe. Durable, hard wearing, functional and the cutouts to hold the bar are brilliant.

Compared to the travel bar, the Manhattan is better. The longer length allows for a wider grip placement range for more exercise variations. Also the the bands begin stretching earlier which is nice for certain workouts like deadlifts; providing a wider range of resistance.
