Parts weren't identified as they should have been, leading to a little bit of confusion for my mechanic. I called strutmaster and they helped me out getting all the specifics as to what goes where, which cleared things up. The kit looks great on the Range Rover, rides good, not as smooth as the air ride, but to be expected with springs and shocks. Overall, nice product, gives the Rover a little facelift and I'm not riding on the ground anymore!

Sits high in the back. I’ve only added 100 miles since installing the springs.
I found the best way to install the rear springs was to have the upper donut in the spring and slide the spring in as you put the upper washer in place. It saves you from compressing the spring to clear the donut if you install the donut first.

This was my first time working on my gx470 or any car in fact and it took me a very long time mostly due to struggles with rust. The included were not very helpful so I had to refer to quite a few different tutorials on YouTube. The parts came quick though! And they were put to the test on a 20 hour roadtrip immediately after install! Smooth and comfortable! I feel better about having less wiring and maintenance required without the air bags in now.

A well needed solution to the airbag suspension which was about to get real $$$. May I suggest adding a lift option to the package because you really don't know where this suspension is going to leave you height wise. Restoring to its original height is vague considering it was an adjustable airbag suspension.

The front went without incident but the rear was crazy. The picture instructions were very blurry and unclear. Ay first it looked like the assembly entailed removing the sub-frame side of the control arm. After that failed closer inspection showed it was from the Hub side then the left side went without a hitch. I did the rear two myself, no lift and nothing but hand tools - 1:20 minutes per wheel. Not difficult at all, 5 nuts/bolts total. Don’t let a shop that has air hammer tools, experienced mechanics and a lift tell you it will take any more than one hour per side. If they argue, you don’t want to go to that shop as they don’t know what they are doing. DIY, you will get dirty.

Super easy to install only issue was placement of main airfeed hose had to go a different route to install cause heat I was thinking off changing fittings and hose to a thicker and my heat resistant hose to solve the problem at first but just got more hose and redirected it! But over all a great buy and smoother ride!

Everything bolted up very well The only thing I don't like is the rear coil springs do not come with isolators for the bottom of the springs and initially the springs were making noise when the car was driven I went ahead and let the customer take the car I have not heard anything about it so hopefully it is stopped but I do recommend rubber isolators for both sides of the coil springs.

The StrutMaster conversion kit is a much better option than spending thousands of dollars just trying to find the problem with the air suspension, and then thousands more to replace parts (if you can find them). My Hyundia dealer wanted more money than the car was worth to diagnose and repair the problem.
Something to remember, the “sport” driving mode no longer works on the Equus. That only made your air suspension stiffer which you no longer have.

These were not easy to install. The instructions could have been better. Did not know you either take out the back seat or take the carpet out of the sides of the trunk and get inside to undo the top of the rear shocks. Took me about ten to twelve hours to complete. Have not got a front end alignment yet, took for a short drive and like the feel so far.

The initial install did not quite go to plan at the rear. However a quick call to Strutmaster's support, got us on the right track. The front suspension went in like a dream and the car handling is now improved due to the delaying air struts wear and tear.
