Certainly reduces the pain when used daily. My pain is substantial and doesn't eliminate the pain completely but allows me to get around much faster, with a much more relaxed gait. I am hopeful that over time and regular use I can see enough of a reduction of the pain that knee replacements for both knees will not be necessary. I had one of these bunion things before and tried to wear it at night but it always slipped off. This one has the extra strap to prevent that. It takes a while to get used to how the tensioner works, but it's painless in use. Haven't has it long enough to notice any change inside my foot.
