I’m glad I bought the large and not xl because I didn’t want a boxy oversized sweater. Large fits my body type well. For reference I’m 5’3 and 165 pounds of womanhood! I washed and dried on delicate cycle and the sweater came out fabulous. It’s soft and comfy.
