I am a beginning knife sharpener , and there's only 2 sharpening material that are worth buying , ceramic and diamond. Every other abrasive ( for metal working ) isn't worth buying , I know people like saving money but sometimes spending less cost you more in the long run when your buying replacements more frequently. Ceramic doesn't wear out like other materials , it stays sharp a lot longer. I recommend them to anyone.

I thought I already had the best metal cutting belts, but I was greatly mistaken. After installing I figured I would sacrifice the first belt to a "torture" test so I would know what to expect when I started a project. Used a very jagged pc. of 1/8" flat bar. I expected it to grind some until I hit the really jagged part and this would rip the belt and it would go flying, especially with the amount of pressure a was applying. These are exceptional belts. Just make sure and wood handles are dry before sanding. But seriously, these are really awesome belts and I know it is a first attempt and it isn't that great but I am so proud of myself for making that blade.
