Our 70 lb, 9 month old German Shepherd pup is a very strong chewer and, within days, has quickly destroyed every rope tug toy we have given him - except this one. This toy is great for playing tug and he loves to chew on it. He especially loves to hold it in his paws and tear at the knots with his teeth. This toy seems almost indestructible. To note - This is the second of these toys we have bought - it's really a backup as the first one is still going strong after 2 months of his best efforts.....

I placed the rope on top of a table after opening the package and my Great Danes eyes lite up. Game on, tug of war full force for 10 minutes. Afterwards the rope was put away out of sight. It will only be used for tug of war, no chewing allowed. We are getting a puppy next week so I have been getting supplies and toys. This set seems to be really nice for a smallish-medium size dog. I've heard that the floss is good for their teeth and gums. I like that the set comes with four different style toys. The two with a ball (1 ball, 1 ball on a rope) are the largest pieces and I think will be great as she gets bigger. My dog loves these, he is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, so with any ordinary rope toy he usually destroys within an hour or so, but these last him at least a month, and he really gives them some hammer. They go out to the garden or stay in the house. He spins round and round with them at speed banging/smashing them into all my furniture, doors and me. I really like these clippers. Does a great job cutting my bully's claws. The clippers are not extremely sharp but they are just perfect to get the job done. The light is a real game changer, making it so easy to see the nail clearly so that you can be sure to not cut the quick. and the slide lock is great to make sure my kids don't accidentally cut them selves if they get ahold of these by mistake.
