This product is a shoulder saver and if your dog darts on a leach sometimes it can cause serious injury ( my wife had to have her shoulder replaced). The brake works exactly as stated and will continue to brake if there is enough leash length. I have found it will stop your pet on the third brake and there is no hard jerking on the leash. It's also a great price and rugged enough for big dogs.

This leash is great for training with the lead but my fur child turns into a fur demon and likes to play tug of war with this leash (no matter how hard I try to get him to stop) and it’s starting to show it. He also likes chewing on it and I’m pretty sure I’ll need a new one in a couple months. Other than that it’s great. Pretty reflective for walking at night. It’s comfortable to hold onto with the padding on the handle loops.

I prefer the buckle collars over the plastic clip buckle for safety and reliability. This collar is very good quality, heavy duty, and attractive. Fits perfectly and my 10 month old pup will not outgrow it. This is by far the easiest leash I've ever used on a dog! The rope is soft to touch and seems to be made very well. I really like that I do not have to or need to find a clip on a collar to attach this leash to... long haired dog friends you know what I'm talking about. This leash has an easy adjustment that's very much like a slip knot. My pup loves this leash, she's knows she's about to go on an adventure. This is one purchase I'm glad I made.

I got this, actually two, one each for my Rottweilers. They are plenty strong with a nice connector on the end. My newest dog is still in training and was initially pulling like a tractor. All good now with the help of this leash and some time with training.

I got this for my new adopted dog and she's 19 lbs. It works really good vs what I was using which was a small rope. The leashes just aren't long enough to walk them and the rope was too long but I feel like I don't have much control with her on this. It's great for small walks and going to the Vet though.
