Hold It Mate

My son and I had been discussing that this type of product needs to be made, and....found it! Really a good product to slow our younger dog down when he wants to take off. Other retractable leashes get ripped out of your hands when he takes off...this one quickly applies the brake and he slows down. Now it's like he knows it's coming and slows quicker! Excellent product for a fair price.

I ordered this for my kitten when she was 6 weeks old and it was too big for her, she would run and fall over because of the weight. 😭 She’s 8 weeks old now and is still growing into it but she can run and play easier with it on now. She is having a harder time slipping out of it but can still do so if she tries. I think in a few months it’ll fit her perfectly. On the other hand, I adore the color and it seems very high quality for such a low price.

Perfect sizing and quality for my jack Russell Cross breed. After several months wear from a burrowing dog, it still looks like new and has stayed on perfectly. Good reflectiveness and light and comfortable for my dog. Totally recommend and I will be buying this again when needed. Looks smart on him.

My kitten is 3lbs and around 3mos old, and it fits almost perfect! She hasn’t been able to wiggle out of it. I wish it was a little more secure around the neck with the option to fasten it a little tighter but as long as she can’t escape I’m happy!! I just pulled the Velcro part closer so it fit her body better. It will work for now until she grows into it.

Love this slicker brush. I tested to see if it’ll be soft enough for my dog by running it on my arm and it isn’t very abrasive. When I used it on my dog he lay on his back and let me brush him for a long time. It made his fur very soft and shiny. Very easy to clean because the bristles retract.

Unfortunately, our PANTHER fell ill and passed away shortly after we bought him this new leash. For the time we were able to use it, we were 100% satisfied with it. We have since donated it to our local animal shelter and we hope that it will go home with an adopted dog and their loving new family.

This harness is adorable! My kitten is 3.5 months old. This harness was very easy to slip on a Velcro/clip at the top. My kitten had to get used to it for about 10-15 minutes but then she warmed up to it. She did slip out once over her head when she was adjusting and this is solely because she is so tiny. I got the Xxxs so cannot go any smaller. I think in a few months it will be an even better fit, but was still very functional for us!

I’m training my maine coon. This is a wonderful harness when put on snug with Velcro it’s a custom fit, clips over Velcro, leash is very light. He adjusted quickly to it and we explored Petco. I’m sure I’ll buy the larger sizes as he grows

The handles are thicker than others I have used, which makes them easy to hold and they are coated with rubber to prevent slippage. When closed, the nail guard acts as a file to take off any sharp edges after clipping. Although, my dogs claws are dark and I wasn't able to see through her nail to identify the quick, the light is extremely helpful to get a better view while clipping to ensure I don't go too far down.

It took me a minute to realize that I had to put the rings together for form the ball. My dogs liked the individual rings also. The ring-ball is quite heavy but my labs liked it. If they toss, drop or throw the ball down hard, I can and will separate the rings. The rubber does seem pretty tough. You can see some teeth marks in the photo after 4 days of play. I’ll update this review if it doesn’t hold up.

I like that this allows our high strung dog to wander around but is easy to call her back and lock her close on a heel. With a normal leash I was constantly handing the leash to take up and release slack plus the length wasn’t nearly as long as this retractable unit. Works very well so far.

This leash is one of the best I have used. I have the 4ft green leash and it has a comfortable handle and strong clasp. Our 4 month old pup is growing 5lbs a week on his way to 100+lbs and I know this leash can handle it. The 4ft is so good for training too because it allows for quick adjustments with behavior. My favorite part is the safety handle that’s lower on the leash and it can be used to to control them quickly.

I liked that it was easy to move the stopper. The leash was bendable but not foldable which is what I wanted for when the dogs head goes through! I have dogs that pull hard and it did not leave burning marks on me so that’s a plus! It’s not too long either so perfect for hitting those blinded corners and not have the dog all the way upfront.
