Picked up the item from Toby's flagship store in BGC. The shoes were brand new in the box, but had some brown stains on the upper of the left shoe, which could probably be due to storage. It can easily be cleaned with a little detergent. Just glad to get a new pair to replace my previous Carbon X which has 530kms on it already. What I'm disappointed with is the service. The comfort is excellent, soft and really protects the feet and legs. One thing I did nit like and i have used it for 42km is that the rubber in the heels worn off right away and this is where I got dissappointed. If on mega sale I will surely buy another shoe from HOKA. but on a regular price I doubt it. Im talking about the.clifton 4 by the way which i got on sale and its still worth the money i paid for though.

One of the most cushioned shoes out there. It's not the lightest, but the overall good stability (due to the wider base) and snug fit of the upper knit will give you a comfortable ride... Ideal for long and easy runs. Might be sluggish for those looking for speedwork. Socks are needed as the heel pull tab is a bit rough and tight, and can give a nasty blister on your Achilles (already happened...).
