I picked up an Epiphone "Lucille" that weighed in at about 9 pounds after playing a light-weight Danilo that only weighed 6 pounds. The straps I had "bit" my shoulder and kept sliding so that the Epi's body sank and the neck pointed upward. I got the ZERO-G Pro: Guitar & Bass Strap, and it's perfect.
