I purchased this 180° thermostat to drop the temperature of my engine. The factory 200 plus thermostat is a joke. Everyone knows that water boils at 200° And with today's temperatures reaching 95 to 100°. Why not cool it as low as you can get it? Installation was easy and straightforward with no issues.And just as an FYI for anyone installing one of these do not trust your digital temperature read out on the dashboard. It is not accurate. 2010 Tundra Crewmax 4x4 5.7 278k miles I've had the RIPP coil packs installed for a week now; less than 200 miles as of 6/14/25. But immediately I noticed a smoother idle. The truck seems to need a little less throttle getting onto the freeway. I haven't slammed the pedal to the floorboard yet, but there is a noticeable difference accelerating on the freeway. I'm hoping these coil packs get me 1-2mpg increase. will update when I math out at my next fill up

I installed these NGK Laser Iridium plugs along with R.I.P.P Performance Coil Packs in my 2018 Dodge Charger GT. They have definitely helped the engine find it's peak performance as well as helped it run slightly cooler thanks the their heat dissipating capability.

Put them on my 2019 392 daytona with 20k miles on it , definitely feel a improvement on the throttle response.

After installing the Ripp ignition coil and the added spark plugs, my truck definitely has that pickup again. Get it? The regained power was definitely needed and would recommend to any Ram 1500 questioning whether to purchase or not. Awesome products.

Really nice set up. It was a little tricky trying to fit it inside the engine compartment since I had other things in the way. But the final product came out good. I had to moved the horn and made a custom bracket to secure it in place.

I was looking for some more easy power. I changed the plugs and added your coil packs. Really woke that 5.7 up. I have buddies with Hemi’s in there new trucks and my old Jeep walks all over them! Thanks for the extra HP!

They look great in Hemi orange. They were a simple and quick install. They seem to make a difference, car seems a little more lively possibly revs a little quicker. As far as hp gain I didn’t dyno it but seems to make a difference. I checked my plugs after a week of use and they are a perfect tan color showing complete burn.

Typical 203° thermostat causes my engine to over shoot to around 215-225 before the thermostat opens enough to le radiator water to begin circulation in the engine block. It's to much of a temperature surge within a hot engine. The RIPP 180 will open and the engine will regulate its temperature to 188-204°. No problems, no extreme surges in radiator to engine temperature ranges. Operates smoothly and temperature ramps up at rates that the ECM hasn't had any problems with adjustments of fuel/air...

this is the second set of coil packs that I have purchased for my 2018 Toyota Tacoma 3.5L. It only takes about 1.5 hours to install and the results are noticeable. I have aftermarket 3" exhaust, Volant ram air intake, and the truck is tuned. I really enjoy the performance they give.

Combined with the RIPP coil packs. I noticed a significant increase in response and acceleration. Made it a completely different car with the K&N air filter and Magna Flow axle back exhaust pipes. I strongly recommend the Iridium plugs and the RIPP coil packs.

Certified master tech, installed in my 3.6l jku, install was strait forward, to take full advantage of the lower temp t-stat you will need to have the cooling fan trigger points lowered. Once that was done my jku now runs at 180 while in motion and 187 stand still. Prolong the life of your 3.6l get one of these an get the fan triggers retuned. You won’t be disappointed

Bought this for my buddy to fix his 3.6 and the difference is night and day. Better everything all day long. Throttle response, power through the whole rpm range, fuel economy. First started with leaking radiator, replaced it, thermostat housing with thermostat and both upper and lower hoses. Still was running about 230-240. Replaced water pump, oil cooler, and thermostat housing and thermostat again. Still same problem. Checked for combustion test passed no head gasket issues. So came across this somewhere. Can’t remember how or where. Figured it was last thing to try before either rebuilding engine or new engine. Jeep is now running average 210-218, oil temp running ...

Just installed the new coils and plugs in my 2020 jeep wrangler rubicon, should of done it 30,000 miles ago. If you haven't done it yet, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! I did it myself, took around 4hr. ( it's easier than it looks) thank you RIPP for all the help....

Installation was pretty straight forward. Though the instructions that came in package was for a Jeep and the intake manifold is designed different to the Durango. Though an online video on YouTube clarified where all the bolts were. I should have taken video/pics during my process. It was raining at the time of install. Nice looking unit, it's larger than my last one. The mounting options are pretty lame. Make sure you measure how long your hose needs to be before cutting the supplied hose. I cut mine in half and now it's worthless, ended up using my old hoses. The instructions say to connect both ends of the single hose to the cooler, mount the cooler and connect the hose to the trans lines...but you can't judge where to cut it if you do it this way. I just installed the Ripps coils in my car plus the Platinum laser spark plugs at first I wasn't impressed I had the same power but when I unplug my negative cable off my car and waited a couple seconds later and started my car all I can say is W O W so much more power my car is a lot fast more Torque and I even notice just have it in reg mode and it still wants to go all out like it's in sports mode the only reason why I didn't give it all the stars because we paid all this money for the coils...
