LOVE my North Ferry hat. Live on the Costa Blanco in Spain where the sun is hot and the days are long. Can wear out on the beach or throw it in my Fanny pack for long hikes. Well made, head stays cool and comfortable and easy to always have on you. LOVE to support ethical, organic and female owned businesses, this company had it all and makes an incredible product.

This is my second North Ferry packable sun hat and I absolutely love it. I’ve been going through chemo and needed something to provide shade to my face, bc chemo makes you more sensitive to the sun, and to cover my newly bald head. These hats fit great, even on the windiest day, and feel soft and comfortable even without hair. You will not be disappointed!

I love this hat! I scrunched it all up in my suitcase for a trip to New Mexico, and when I unpacked it, it's just like new! It's breathable and lightweight, while also being substantial and in good form. My 7 year old was even able to borrow it for a while for some sun protection. Highly recommend!

LOVE this kit! It comes with everything you need to make your own packable sunhat. The pattern is easy to follow. The start was a little tricky for me but that was just a dexterity thing. The thinner yarn and trying to keep my stitches tight. If you have knowledge of how to crochet already I would rate this as an Easy pattern. TikTok did it again with recommendations. My fiance thought it would be heavy and make my head hot but in the heat of the day it did a great job at blocking the sun and I liked that it was able to bend and move when I was leaning back in my lounge chair. I have been loving this hat! Great for a pool day, a hike to keep the sun and bugs off of you, or gardening. I’ve been wearing this everyday since I got it.
