This bag is lightweight so great for a carry on bag! Also less chance of you having to check your bag, because it doesn't have wheels. But does have a strap to secure it on your rolling checked case. This carry-on bag is the perfect size. It measures 22x14x9 inches. This is the size limit for American Airlines domestic flights. You can see the measurements in the photos on my review. This is a slightly smaller hard shell rolling suitcase for the purposes of using it as a carry-on. It makes good use of its smaller space inside with just a very few small mesh pockets for storing certain fragile things out of the way. Other than that it is completely empty inside. There is a combination lock for extra security and the exterior of the suitcase is very hard and durable. I have put this carry on to the test this Christmas and I love it! It’s easy to travel with. It is a little small and limit the number of items that I can take with me but it’s all good ,for a carryon I believe that it is more than enough space.
