I was slightly skeptical because I have never ordered from here. I have a decant of grans soir and fell in love with it. I did not want to pay such an extreme amount for such a soft scent. Hands down THE BEST fragrance house. They have incredible original fragrances , but their inspiration catalogue is insane! Not only do they offer the chance to relive long discontinued fragrances, but they’re so incredible they can match it down to different batches. Just insane the attention to detail. Definitely a hyper close inspiration of Strangelove NyC’s Melt in Love. Maybe a very subtle difference on the ginger at the opening and the oud, but very negligible. What an amazing scent. This smells like fruit stripes gum with a smooth, but heavy base of sandalwood. This gives me nostalgia because it seems so familiar due to the fruit stripes vibe, but it also has some mystery due to that Creamy base. This is a very grown, but laid back fragrance. AF Woods was one of the first fragrances I fell I love with as a child. I wore it throughout the 90’s and early 2000’s. Like many, when it was discontinued I sought alternatives like Ruel No. 925.
