I like this tea pot very much. The shape is really original and made with a great skill. The only negative point is the spout of the tea pot : it is not perfectly pouring the tea, and several drops are escaping during the service.

Beautiful little pot that has a delightful pour. It makes tea that's sweet like syrup. The craftsmanship that has gone into this pot is evident in the detail--the lid even has one rounded corner to make its orientation clear so it fits perfectly.

Beautiful pot, amazing texture on the outside, pours very well, lid is perfectly seated no wobble or leaks and it’s designed in a way that when I fill it up all the way and then put the lid on it doesn’t force any water out which I really enjoy. I do wish it was a bit bigger but I knew that before I bought it, but I really like the proportions of everything and don’t know if it would be better if it was bigger.

This beauty is one of the most eye catching tea pot, I’ve ever had. Details are fine and neat. Its light weight make this tea pot perfect for use. However, the inner part of the lid is not fit and have a gap with the body of the pot which always let some drips of water to leak when pouring the tea. With the master level of handcraft, this tea pot is outstanding on my shelves and became one of my favorite pieces.

The teapot is a bit off round. I get it’s handmade but not having a symmetrical teapot feels weird. The look is like the teapot is misshaped. The spout is very big and the filter holes are also big which make the flow of water very fast for the size of the teapot, and because of it, many small tea leaves to go through. I have to use a filter for such a small teapot.

Beautiful teapot and I love the Duanni clay - it is mineraly and muting to the tea liquor which pairs well with strong shou and sheng puerh teas. I give it 4/5 stars for the fitment of the lid. There is some leaking from the front unless I pour slowly, an issue I do not have on less expensive (but mush simpler shaped) teapots. I mean look at this thing though - a real work of art.

I think this is an overall nice teapot, but there are some pluses and minuses you may want to know about. Clay is the most important thing, and looking at the photos of this pot on the webpage, I was a little skeptical: "why is zini so shiny, is it really supposed to look like that?" I have dedicated the teapot to sheng puerh: the tea is smoother and sweeter, it is like a dessert after the meal. The teapot itself is brittle and beautiful to touch, but seems heavy when you observe it. It reminds me somehow to slovenian lace form Idrija.
