Super soft and smooth material. Worn once, seemed squatproof to me. Ordered a medium, I am 5’9” about 160 lbs with a booty lol, fits well. Waist is slightly loose but definitely not enough that I need a small. Nice phone pocket in back of shorts though. Would order more for sure.
