The black sapote looked very nice upon arrival. A week later they are ready to eat. NOTE: Let this fruit get very soft and wrinkly before trying to eat. You are going to thinks it's gone bad. I cut one too early and it was brown and mealy. Ripe they taste amazing like a mildly sweet dark chocolate pudding. The texture is smooth and creamy.

I had a lot of fun with the variety box and will have to try ordering one in another season, too. I would say the tamarillo and the eggfruit were the biggest pleasant surprises, and the cactus fruit made a beautiful limeade. The black also sapote substituted very well for persimmons in a spice bread with bourbon and pecans.

These are my favorite. Always order them from Miami fruits. Always comes fresh. Some unripe some ripe which gives a perfect amount to eat for now and some for later. Never had any issues with them. Fruits come well packaged.

I bought boxes for my parents and uncle for the holidays, and they've been sending me daily updates on their fruit adventures. My uncle called it "definitely the gift of the season." I ended up buying myself a box, too, and it has been fun tasting the fruits and trying recipes (definitely pay close attention to the ripening guide). I recommend making a small batch of tamarillo hot sauce if you get one. It's a tangy tropical delight that pairs well with hot chilis.

Seeds arrived promptly after shipping and in good condition. I just bought them last month and they are already sprouting. I won't know what the fruit is like for years I suppose I can't verify if it is the seeds I ordered, but if it ends up being something completely wrong then I will edit my review. Until then we can safely assume that I am growing some amazing fruit trees, and I can verify that Miami fruit is very responsive and delivered viable, healthy seeds!

The absolute best! This had to be the best Avocado I’ve ever eaten and the egg fruit was wonderful blended and baked as a pie. There was a cacao pod and a pineapple and so many other goodies, I’ve bought 3 more for family and another mango box for myself. This was such a treat!! I like lychee but this variety I loved. It's sweet like candy. I will describe the taste as edible roses with sugary glaze. So good like rose candy, but without the artificial sweet taste. I ordered a large box and gave some to my mom. When she tried it she wanted more lol. I ordered other fruits that I don't know whether I will preorder. I just might because it's so good and extremely juicy.

This was our second box. We are loving it!! We love the variety that comes in each one. The ripening guide is so helpful in knowing how to store the fruit that comes, and we’re trying so many different things that we never would have before!! And the bananas are soooo much better than bananas at the grocery store! So far the favorite was the cacao fruit. My son found a YouTube video of a guy karate chopping them open. Turns out it works for kids too!! 😂😂

Absolutely delicious Durian, it changed my wife's mind on the fruit! She though that my daughter and I were making up how tasty this delicious fruit is, until she tried this one. We like to have it with a lot of lemon, as that helps to cut the aromas/tastes that some may find offensive. We thought this one tasted like vanilla custard (and texture), slightly floral - and overall absolutely amazing. We're going to try a lemon sorbet with it!
