Got it for valentine's day for the hubs. He loved it! Lots of bananas and they lasted for a long time. I gave it to him right when it arrived in the mail but i could have hidden it and brought it out for the big day but i didn't want any of them to ripen without me knowing.

What can I say...but...HOLY MOLY!!! Everything in our Large Mystery Box was absolutely phenomenal! Bananas are still ripening, passion fruit has been frozen with yellow dragonfruit in order to add to smoothies or homemade yogurt. The cacao seeds are drying as I type... So wonderfully FRESH!!! Miami Fruit only sends the BEST quality to your home. Our Yellow Dragon was as sweet as could be...our leftovers, we froze into cubes to later use in Smoothies or as Ice Cubes in Grown-Up “Smoothies”. Very good, I would get a small box next time because they go bad quickly unless you plan on eating a lot or sharing with a few people. But excellent for about 2-3 days and then they get soggy.

This was the perfect surprise for my friend Melissa who was craving her favorite fruit, soursop, in the middle of a snowy, icy winter. Miami Fruit totally delivered Premium Quality Guanabana as advertised. Melissa couldn't have been happier with the experience, and the few extra maracuya/passion fruit included in the box was a lovely touch to sweeten the deal. Worth every penny! Holy moly, this was so much fruit! I am used to the $2 a piece passion fruit prices up in the North East, so imagine my surprise when I got what seemed like two hundred-ish passion fruit for way less than supermarket prices! It ended up being too much fruit! So I juiced it and made fancy, non-alcoholic cocktails with it (the Alinea Group’s book zero has a very scrummy one involving cinnamon, passion fruit purée, black rice broth, baking soda and citric acid to make it self-carbonate).

I recommend buying a regular Cavendish banana (from the store, like a normie) to compare with these so you can really see the difference! It is nice to taste a piece of history with this banana (and to actually get the “banana candy” flavor), and it makes a killer banana cream pie and banana bread (pictured). Maybe a good party favor or corporate gift?

These boxes make great care packages. I sent a friend that wasn't feeling well one, and she loved it. (Only half of the box shown in picture). I wish the website had a "this is a gift" option to hide the price in the shipped order. Nevertheless, it's a fun present --We spent a few text messages trying to figure what each fruit was.

I got several custard apples with my order which was surprising because I ordered a smaller box. They all varied in different sizes. You have to let them ripen but once you do they have a nice creamy texture that I find to be very sweet and enjoyable. I'm glad I had a chance to taste this fruit. So far I've had a cherimoya, soursop, and a custard apple. Next up, a sugar apple!

I have a banana problem. I eat too many bananas. This 40lb box nearly broke my freezer, but in a good way. It was given to me as a gift, but it only fueled my banana addiction and I will now order this huge box on a regular basis. Thank you Miami fruit. We can't keep enough of these in-house! All of us love trying the different types of bananas. The different flavor profiles each of them have are great to explore. They shipped to us quickly and were still a little (perfectly) underripe so they did not spoil or over ripen at all during transit. Within a couple of days we had a massive bundle of yummy ripe bananas everywhere! If you like bananas, this is a must try!

My gros Michel arrived in 2 days and the bananas looks really good. It would be best when it is harvested a little more mature so it will ripen a little faster. It’s slowly ripening which is good. Bulk box is a great deal especially if harvested mature. Good tasting bananas and good flavor

I knew I had to order from Miami Fruit as soon as I learned about them. So many cool fruit varieties offered in one box … and delivered right to my door? Sign me up! First time trying fresh turmeric- it didn't disappoint. I bought 2lbs for both myself and my mom. My mom absolutely loved it and ate it raw. I use it in rice and other dishes, it lasts a long time in the fridge but I decided to freeze it just like I do my ginger so it lasts even longer! I'll be buying it regularly from now on!

I’m addicted to these! So much sweeter and in my opinion superior to the pink ones! Fantastic flavor and quality! And even while ripe, they lasted a long time on the counter before I moved to the fridge where they lasted longer! Made lots of people happy with gifts of pitaya too!
