The medal came as is which was a nice surprise. The cost of the run was inexpensive so I expected a cheap medal but the quality was great. The only issue I had was tracking my runs manually instead of the app counting every single step throughout the day. So I felt like I cheated myself a bit when I finished without actually running a full 30 miles. But that has more to do with me not learning the app in detail.

This was one of two of the first virtual races I've ever done. I wanted to try something I knew I'd be able to do all at once, as well as an accumulative race. This race was perfect to get my feet wet with. Once I completed the race I was so excited to receive my medal. I opted to have it sent once completed so I'd have a reason to earn it. The medal is great & the adventure was superb. My only complaint is the hinge on the medal seems weak & squeaky. The medal is heavy and could use a stronger hinge. I do love that it has a mirror. It makes it a functional piece of art that I can use daily.

Beautiful medal. I am not sure if they are meant to be displayed together or not. If so, the magnets on the teddy bear are not atrong enough to hold onto the main part of the medal. Otherwise, both pieces are lovely.
