I like this medal because it has a spinning plate (farmer and truck). The coffee in Colombia is delicious, so this medal is appealing to its “golden roast” of coffee. This medal has good design as well.

It was unexpected walk. I suppose to walk to Walmart from home about 2.1k while talking video call to my parents back home, then my boyfriend will pick me up from the store to the gym and do my workout routine then do my 5K run on the treadmill. BUT, it because it was labour day here in Canada on that day, Walmart open by 11am and I was already there by 9am. So, I ended up going back home and continue to walk to finish my 5K without realizing it that I already walk about 5.86k with in 1hr 12mins...

The Pyramids of Egypt was my very first Virtual Adventure Challenge and I found it kept me motivated to walk daily to get to the next checkpoints and complete the challenge. The checkpoints contained excellent information and photographs about the places being "visited." It was good for my health, fun and educational at the same time! The virtual badge to display on my Pacer app is nice and the printable certificate looks good. But the real beauty is the medal which is just amazing to look at....

Medals were nicely crafted. The process of working towards it is rewarding. It’s really a great way to plan and execute the exercise plan and progressively increase the distance. 21 km is tough for whole family. Working towards 100km for the sun now.

I love this medal. Although it looks traditional, it is of the finest craftsmanship nonetheless. This medal is available to your own home without doing an actual marathon (not only in Greece or New York). Like for many Olympians, you can put this medal on your teeth to feel the metal. It is a good medal to have for your own accomplishment at any level (good for walkers and absolute beginners).

A fun time for cheap. After Covid I find it harder to find races. So I walked most of this near my house then made sure to plan a trip to Niagara Falls to finish off the journey. If you do the same, there is a great paved trail that goes from the Niagara aquarium to the falls, three sister island, and to the old stone chimney.
