The progressive springs are amazing even if they say they are for the shadow 2 i’ve been using it on my Tanfoglio Stock Master Xtreme and it works like a charm i got the 11 and the 10 lbs springs depend on the ammo available and they both do magic

The BC magazine based for 1911 Tripp Cobra magazines are great. The additional weight due to the brass construction ensures that the magazines drop free to enable fast reloads. I like the checkered base which assists in seating the magazine fully on reloads.
I did buy both the gold and black bases and if I was doing it again, I would just get the black ones as they look classy, while the gold ones are a bit too much “bling”, but certainly get comments from bystanders.

As I acquired the STI second hand, the previous owner had managed to strip the allen-key screws that hold the grip in place.
As I was unsure if the receivers for the new screws would be the required thread for the screws, I removed one of the base pieces. 100% best magwell out there. Blended and angled perfectly and provides good support to your grip. I've tried quite a few, and this one not only looks the best but performs the best too and is a fraction of the cost of other top brands.
The carbide grip surface has good traction but the flat carbide grips are slightly thicker than the factory duralumin grips. Some may or may not prefer that. Darren was able to help me out with a custom request and shipping was fast.

This was fitted to a second-hand STI Target Master (1911).
I have hands smaller than the average bear and it was difficult to reach the standard magazine ejector button without releasing the grip to twist my hand to reach it.
Initially, I fitted a Wilson Conbat extended release which comes in 2 parts where the release is fitted to the gun and an extension screws on top.
I tested the fitting and one of these keys will appear to not fit on top as well as the WC button but it does sit in a way...

These grips and magwell turn a CZ shadow 2 into a super gun on steroids ! The grip is just what I wanted , even if your hands sweat they are stuck in there and the magwell makes reloads so simple and effortless that it feels like cheating ! You will need extended basepads for the magwell because stock pads won’t work so do your research .

Best grip i have had to be honest, been running other metal grips previously but this is better in my opinion. The only down side I see with this grip is if you get a bad grips when you pull from the holster it's harder to correct your grip. This is because the grip is so good that you have some problem correcting your grip quickly. This is obviously something that can be trained away, but it can be something to keep in mind. Love the weight and angles of this magwell. Works great on my Chambers Custom NightFighter. It can be a little difficult getting the pin back on but once it’s installed it stays put. I’m very happy with this magwell.

I was unsure how I would like the palm swell on these compared to LOK and Patriot Defense, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the contour to be extremely comfortable. Easy to lock your grip in. Unfortunately you lose a little of the "grippiness" if you opt for the gold plated version; however, the grooves and cuts still allow for a firm grip. Totally worth it for the look though, everyone will be envious.

I like using optics and when I purchased my CZ Shadow 2, I shot it with open sights, and then I found out how easy it is to add a plate for an optic. Very happy with the results. The fitment is very tight and requires some force to remove the open sights and fit the plate. With a couple of hundred shots fired with the optic fitted, the point of aim has not moved. Very happy with my purchase.

To be honest, why would any competitive shooter want to pay the extra for the unmarked versions? The tiny scratches on the ones I received are as described - really nothing at all. I'm sure they'll get a few more scratches after a season on the range.

The safety is well built. It took a lot longer than other safety's to fit but was worth it in the end. There was some blending needed to fit the STI Edge frame.

Love the Red dot mount. I looked far and wide for a steel mount. Everyone sells an aluminum mount; I am not a fan of thin aluminum mount. Fear of threads pulling through and the mount coming off during rapid competitive fire.

I needed to have 2.54 mm (100/1000th) shaved off the top of the pads to have them all fit in the box.
Red one inserted for measurement.
No chipping of the finish and very easy to mill.
Fit perfectly on my MetalForm magazines with the purchased screws.
Nice and consistent drops from the gun, and so far have not chipped the finish.
Also, that is a BC Components extended mag release.

I've tried many grips for my CZ Shadow 2, and these are my favorites. Very grippy, ergonomic palm swell, great contouring at the backstrap (absolutely superior to everything else I've tried), sturdy. Bought it to mount a Shield dot on my Shadow 2 OR. The plate was easy to install and came with small cylinders that to my untrained eye seem to be sight raisers. Didn't use them, but I know people out there who would want one. The bottom of the plate has the same cutout pattern as the one on the slide so the plate wobbles far less. The Shield red dot fit on it but needs to be tightened down onto the plate properly to make sure it doesn't move about too much.
