My Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law picked up a mug similar to this when they traveled to NZ. It was my husband's favorite mug until our 2 year old daughter accidentally broke it. We really love the war canoe. If there is a criticism it is we could not determine which end is the bow and which end is the stern. Knowing that would make it easier to attach the ornaments to the correct end. We also paid extra to have it shipped with tracking. It was exciting to watch its progress and know it would arrive safely.

My cat Daisy fell in love with a kiwi we had from when we lived in Dargaville many years ago. It became her 'kitten' which she carried everywhere. When she lost him she was distraught, and nothing else would do. Kiwis aren't easy to come by in the UK either!! I'd like to thank you on Daisy's behalf. Her replacement travels everywhere with her still, and the spares live in a drawer in case of emergencies! Thanks again.
