The craftsmanship is outstanding. The quality of the aluminum is actually better than a stock California plate. However, the color of the yellow lettering is slightly off than original. In the photo it may seem slight, but in person you can really tell the difference. Also, the embossed California letters are not as prominent with paint as the original. Love these license plates. I bought 2 sets for both cars. I would show a picture but I don’t want my license plates shown. I got a black plate with white letters. It is so beautiful. I recommend you buy a set. You will not regret it. I am going to buy another set for my other car too. Tell a friend too.

Incredibly happy with the license plate supplied by California License Plate. I was curious about the word spacing as my plate has two words and there was a half space used when originally made 40+ years ago. When the new plate arrived and set it on top of the original the letter impressions lined up perfect and the plates nested together extremely well. Highly recommended!
