Good product, a couple had a few splits on a few lengths (we had over 150 mtrs in total) but that can happen with this type of cladding when buying it anywhere. Painted really well and very happy.

Great delivery 🚚 service and customer care as traditional old England business! Please the customer, which they certainly did. There was a split in one of the posts and when I enquired about what to do about this, there was no questioning or doubting my word. They e mailed me immediately and sent a replacement with their sincerest apologies a few days later. A really pleasant experience and if there were more companies doing business as ethically as this, Britain would be an even greater place....

We built a 6ft raised bed which we clad with the half round rails. Then applied the steel wool and vinegar solution trick to age the wood. Over the moon with the result! Excellent quality and very speedy delivery. Would definitely recommend.

Bought this back to go outside my caravan I did add legs to raised it up. Really quick delivery during lockdown with cheaper than else where for the same product. Was a small problem with the delivery company but was sorted really quickly with really good customer support will buy another one day

Despite the recent covid-19 outbreak and lockdown, delivery was prompt and hassle free. All components of the deck were of good quality (some of the decking top pieces were slightly warped but this didn't interfere with the build at all) and assembly was made easier by the step-by-step tutorial on the website. Ordered some timber to repair my shed and Ruby had what I wanted. They confirmed with me that they had it in stock before I ordered it, and were very nice to deal with. The consignment was delivered carefully by the courier and was in perfect condition. The ends of the timber were wrapped in thick foam for protection. Just fantastic service and product. Would definitely buy again. We bought three 2.4x2.4m decking sets and it’s looks amazing. My husband put it together alone and said it was good quality. A few spare joist screws would have been good as we had to use a few more in places but really pleased would recommend.

This is the third shed project I have built and used the traditional softwood cladding each time. There were virtually no bent "banana" boards, very few split pieces and overall it was great to work with. Will definitely use this again.

Ordered tongue and groove planks to complete a garden shed and it worked excellently giving a grade A finish. Of 35 3.6m planks non had cracks in groove, much better than other suppliers feedback. First time building a summer house, Ruby did great with customer service. Were more than happy to drop the planks around the side of my house to the back garden. Shiplap was of good quality, I had maybe two out of 50 that were slightly bowed. Very happy, and when I shall be building my other shed in a few years I shall most certainly be returning. Purchased 80 1.8m pickets to build nearly 100 feet of picket fence. Order arrived in 3 days as promised, timber was great quality, no split pieces, no damaged pieces, was able to use every 1 of the 80. Really pleased with the end result. Will definitely use Ruby again.

Great service, good communication, fast delivery, high quality material and the best price I could find on the internet. It was pretty easy to put it together on my own and did it at a leisurely pace over the course of 3-4 days (3.6m x 3.6m). I did buy a few more joists (from this site) and used my own screws and hangers for the joists as well as buying some more decking screws.
