I received great results on my lawn restoration using GCI TTTF grass seed. I've spent years following the basic route to lawn care here in NC with little to no success. My lawn has gotten off to a great start this fall (22), switching from centipede to TTTF was the best decision I've made this year. I’m really happy with this tttf grass seed. I started killing off the entire lawn on the beginning of August and seeded September 12 at 10 lb per 1000 ft used protene starter fertilizer and here’s a picture on October 19, can’t go wrong with gci turf seed

Three weeks in into my overseed and the results are kicking in. The shady areas in back with tree cover and sprouting, but not to the level as the sun covered areas. Will see how that develops next season and may due another application with a high shade variety. Overall, happy with the results. The price is high, but the quality is there so i can't complain. I've probably spent more altogether on sub-quality products and haven't gotten close to these result.

I started using Protene this summer trying it for the first time. This is my ‘go to’ fertilizer from now on. It doesn’t give the turf a blast of growth, this is slow and steady. The lawn looks healthy. Up here in Michigan we start mowing a bit lower when the temps get around 45 degrees at night. I bought a house that had a 22,000 square foot front lawn. Half of it was devastated by grubs. After treating for the grubs I seeded with GCI Cool Blue on September 3rd as well as used the Protene Starter fert, Humic 12 and Air8 application. This is my front yard after a down to the dirt renovation with fescue from GCI TURF. I used the protene fertilizer and around 6 days started getting grass. I watered about 2 hours everyday and I mean everyday with temps in the 90 plus range one of those weeks early on. 2 weeks after the yard started really coming in I hit it with 32 pounds of milorganite. The temps are now in the 70 plus range now and I have a beautiful dark green yard!

Tried this on the demon grass in my lawn. I looked like a madman applying this but it worked although too well as it took the fescue around it as well. It was worth the try and I have used it in my flower beds since.

This is 21 days after overseeding in my second cut. Germinated pretty quick here in Michigan survived a week of 90s right after I put the seed down.so far in looking it with nice green color.TTTF

We applied Mulchcrete last week and after a rainstorm yesterday all of the mulch is still in the exact place we wanted it to stay. This flowerbed is located on a sloped part of the yard and we usually have washout after a small rain. I highly recommend this product and have already placed an order for more to anchor down the mulch in the other flowerbeds we have.

First time using the Protene and feel it’s definitely a keeper! I alternate this with spoon feeding micronutrients and have been pleased with the results so far. Your seed germinates quickly and predictable. I take a slightly different approach when it comes to over-seeding I lightly over-seed throughout the growing season when needed and then high rate over-seed in the winter usually the end of February. I do not fertilize throughout the summer or in the spring instead use a bio char-based product throughout the spring and summer. In the fall fertilization is applied multiple times at medium to heavy rates.

Wow! Only been 2 weeks since Labor Day of ‘23 but GCI turf is coming in nicely. Can’t wait to see what it’s like when it’s fully established. Killed off all of the weeds in my back yard. Core aerated and then seeded at 10 lbs. per thousand square feet. The TTTF grew in beautifully and has wintered over nicely. The lawn looks great this spring. I'm very satisfied with GCI - both the service and product have been exceptional.

I’ve been spraying professionally for 11 years. I’ve used all kinds of adjuvants from the distributors and some have been ok. This was until I decided to give this a try. When I say I can literally use the low rate and get high rate results, I mean just that. The compounds have proven effects on nematodes, and some effect even on ground pearl. The compounds also have positive reactions when using lower rates of fungicide. I will not spray with anything else from here on out.

I have never seen seed like this. I used GCI’s TTTF on our lawn renovation in the fall of 2019. Seed germinated in 3 and 4 days. Daytime temperatures were high 70’s to low 80’s. Night time temperatures were high 50’s to low 60’s. Watered each zone 5 times a day for 15 minutes for 3 weeks. Then backed off to 3 times a day for 15 minutes.
