I tried GCI TTT Fescue Seed for the first time a few weeks ago. I reseeded areas of my backyard where I have been trying to get rid of Wild Bermuda Grass. My lawn is TTT Fescue. The seed has good germination rate and came up in 4-5 days. I top dressed my backyard last March mainly with Composted Cow Manure. The nursery ran out of it. Outstanding product. Once I ordered got prompt shipping. Way faster than I anticipated. Even got a military discount which is always appreciated. This flow zone makes things so much easier than a pump sprayer. The spray pattern is great. The battery last long enough for me to do my start my entire yard. Round two this year. I had a late start to seeding in Delaware last year. So I don't feel like I gave it a good chance to grow before winter. Then made the mistake of an overdosage of Fusilade II and fried it all in the spring. At least the summer gave me the opportunity to test herbicides on all the weeds I have. Now a bag of spreader elite and TTTF is down on a prepped partial dirt and partial grass property. I will succeed! The amount of kudos on Youtube over this seed can't be wrong.

3300 sq ft planted on 10/10/24 this is 13 days later. Nights are getting colder in western so I covered with tarps at night also keeps moisture in. Very pleased with the germination. I put 45 lb on this area. Very pleased with your TTTF. Tony

Got grass babies in about 5 days. This is my first year using this seed and I have been happy with it so far. My lawn took a beating this year so there are plenty of areas to fill in. I overseeded at about 8 lbs per 1,000 so fingers crossed.

Amazing KBG! Planted this in a complete lawn renovation project. Killed off my entire previous lawn over the course of two months and scarified 4 times in multiple directions. Seeded on September 2nd (covered with thin layer of peat moss) and got wide spread germination on September 11th!!! KBG germinating in 9 days is absolutely incredible. Third year of using this seed and while pricey it does indeed fill in bare spots so I think the addition of that cultivar is worth it. Color and appearance is the same as the normal GCI seed so you can use either interchangeably. Germination in 5-6 days and first mow in 16-20 days. Very happy with using this in my yard.

These tall fescue seeds grew!!! One week after reseeding, grass was starting to grow. The picture I shared is showing the grass three weeks in. At first I had some weaker spots but it’s starting to fill in now. I’m glad I purchased GCI Turf seeds!

CGI Cool Blue is ecellent. I did aeration and overseeded with Cool Blue the 1st week of Sept and the lawn has really come in nice and thick. Prior to this year I had been using Jonathan Green Black Beauty Ultra. I have to say this Cool Blue is better. I love it and I have received several compliments from my neighbors. Give it a try. I just ordered more of the Blue Heat. The video shows the "old" Blue Heat mix, which is now 3 years old, and because I could not find the time to kill and reseed as I had planned, I am using it for large lawn spots that I seeded from bare dirt. Excellent germination. Germinated in a little over 7 days. Video from 2.5 weeks after planting.

These KBG seeds are honestly amazing. I really have not had KBG germinate this quickly, so the Bolt variety lives up to it's name. I over seeded on a Sunday and had germination and seedlings by Thursday which is super quick. For reference, this is in Chicago with weekly weather in the 70s. I will be buying more to cover some patchy areas where birds and other animals disrupted the soil, and where the soil was particularly clay heavy.

I pregerminated this seed for 3 days and then I over seeded my lawn and had plenty of bare patches to fill in! With a light dust of peat moss and plenty of rain I got germination in 3 days and it's looking gorgeous so far!

I keep wanting to try other fertilizers, but Protene keeps me hooked. Not only does it feed for weeks on end, it hasn’t added a ton of top growth. That’s wonderful during NC summers. Can’t recommend highly enough. My favorite fertilizer brand.

Put summer performance fertilizer a month ago after a month long drought (PA/DE area). Grass recovered well. Showed good growth (in 80 degrees) and good color. While I did put other stimulants, I do think this summer fert helped the most.

After a little research. I found out I had lawn rust. I actually did a home remedy first. Then once the fungicide arrived. I put it out quick, fast,and in a hurry. I'm very pleased with the results. I would definitely buy again!

This is my Blue Heat front lawn two weeks after application of Protene 20-0-5. Rain has been scarce, one overnight shower, one shot of irrigation. The small grains gives great coverage with a broadcast spreader. The lawn faces due west with no shade here in South Jersey so even with irrigation It suffers a bit in the dead of summer.
