Last year I hired a company - and needless to say - I took it back.
I follow Pete on his videos. It’s funny during the pandemic - and due to a crazy busy professional life - I never knew there was a YouTube out there on Lawn care - I always used Scott’s for years - and I really like to cut my turf tight - I have bluegrass.
I’m getting ready to order another bag - it needs a green shot - I don’t have a sprayer - I’ll find something.

This is my tall turf type fescue lawn in Michigan. I bought the Turf Spreader Elite to cut down on the cost of over seeding The box that it came in was much worse for wear than the bag of seed. First off I love this thing!
After calibrating all of the nozzles with water and writing it all in my journal I mixed up some Propiconazole, tenancy, RGS, Air8, Green POP, and adjuvant. The wife and I went in the backyard and sprayed before a rainstorm arrived and watered it all in. Nice way to save water from the irrigation system.
Big difference from the sprayers plus I have had for the past 5 years. This typhoon is a game changer. Do more, work more, and spray farther.

Added Cal Tide along with micro green 0-0-2 and noticed a difference within a couple of days. Tall fescue looks full, thicker and upright even with this 90 degree plus heat we are having in New Jersey. You can definitely tell the difference when walking on the lawn.

I have a crab apple tree next to my fence in my neighbors yard. it is constantly sending out runners into my landscaping. This stuff works as described, but acts slow. I re-applied some foam and hopefully didn't add to much, because some of it ran down into the ground. My advise is to add a decent amount on in the beginning and leave it alone because it takes about a week in 2 or days to kill it off.

If you have the Typhoon get these nozzles. They are all awesome but the one in my opinion that steals the show is the shower nozzle. At the highest setting this nozzle puts out a gallon in 51 seconds! I kid you not! That means I could do my 5000 sq ft lawn in 4:15 like the pros! Check out those droplets in the picture.

I’ve been following Pete’s plan for the last 2.5 years and the protene delivers as advertised. One change I’ve noticed is not having ridiculously heavy top growth and having to mow every 2-3 days. It’s been steadier and the grass is maintain color longer as a result.

18-0-1 Green Punch is outstanding. Applied for the first time 5 days ago and could almost immediately see a response. That initial fast nitrogen works well and the foliar iron green up made my lawn stand out. I applied a medium rate of 15 oz per 1000 as I applied 16-21-2 at a medium low rate about 3 weeks ago. This area was my problem area before I stumbled upon GCI Turf Academy. It was dried clay and barren due to clay compaction. I started the Humic 12, Air 8, and RGS and that area came to life. Grass started growing in this area before overseeding. It was weird. My lawn is a Lebanon Winning Colors lawn for the past 5 years. I am liking what I am seeing with the Cool Blue mixed in.
