Fits well with my knife. I didn’t use any glue. I just heated the knife end really well and inserted it and it went right through the wood and fits well. No issues so far. Highly recommend this product.

These aren't my first chisels, but I am by no means handy with chisels, but I found them sharp enough to shape wood with just honing with a strop The handles fit my large hands. The blades are thick and steady and precisely shaped. They are a joy to carve with.

The bent gouge was very sharp and put to use right away. It is excellent for working on spoons with smaller bowls. I used it on already cured and dried cherry. Not partially wet wood as some spoon makers used. I had excellent results.

I use this gouge to hollow out the bowls of the spoons I carve, and so far it has cut cleanly and easily in any wood I have tried it on, hard or soft, green or dry. I occasionally strop it, thinking that I must have dulled the edge by now, but I never have. It just has never lost even a bit of sharpness.

Very well made and sharp quality made with best materials available. Dislike it took 15 days for delivery if you have time to wait for the product then it is very well worth the money other wise for the cost. Thank you

Opened my gouge today and tried it out. Came in sharp, and ready to use. Took out some stock cherry and was very happy the way it cut and grooved in the project! Suggest this highly!!!!!

This is a great tool and is very reasonably priced. It’s comfortable to hold and easy to sharpen with some practice. It is made with good quality materials. I would definitely buy it again.

Pretty awesome little knife. Took a minute to get used to, being as this is the first hook knife I’ve used, but after I got the hang of it it works great. Handle is of good quality. I was worried that the blade would seem flimsy or afraid that it would bend, but it’s pretty solid and I’ve cranked on it and it still felt good and no bending.

The blade needs some attention before I can really put it to use, but the overall quality of the tool is great. The handle is not lacquered and was finished with boiled linseed oil, which is great.

Came sharp out of the box. The handle is comfortable and not covered in any sticky finish. Steel seems to be of good quality. Hones well and has kept and edge well so far on the few walnut and maple spoons I've worked on with it.

I don't know much about carving, but I want to try making a spoon and this tool is the right price. It was sharp right out of the box, now I gotta learn how to use it.

Carved my first spoon and it turned out pretty good. Nice beginner set, pretty sharp right out of the box. I used a strop and it was razor sharp. If you've been thinking about spoon carving, stop thinking about it and do it.

I bought these for my husband who has already made a few wood spoons, as a beginner. They did a wonderful job even on hard cherry wood and worked quickly and smoothly for him. Great quality.

So I am very new to wood carving but what I really like about it is its size. You can get a really good grip on it. It seems like it will be very nice to use.

I was very surprised when this knife came. They claimed the knife to be sharp and read to use. Amazingly it was sharp and ready to use. I had to do nothing to sharpen it. I took it out of the box and carved a few strokes on some very old dried oak and it cut great. It is also comfortable. I love this knife.

This is actually my favorite tool in my spoon carving box. It arrived sharp and ready to use. The knife carves deeply and cleanly at a good angle, so this will be well used. Handle is smooth and feels good while using the blade. Overall great value and knife.

After starting to wood carve and cutting twice and stabbing once it was time for this tape. The tape is great especially for my thumb, I use a glove on other hand. It will not prevent mistakes however; the tape protects better than ever. Fully recommend this product. Very pleased for my safety.

A strop is a pretty basic thing. Leather on a flat surface. That's exactly what you're buying. It's presentable enough to hang on the wall and not look like an industrial tool. If you want a basic strop, this is the one to get.

Very good product, well made and came very sharp, ready to carve. The leather bag is really nice and thick to provide good protection. I highly recommend this product if you want a chisel set to last a long time. I tried a couple of cheaper chisel sets and they were a waste of money and didn’t last.

This came exactly as described. Came razor sharp and ready for use. Only had it a couple days, so time will tell if it holds up well. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

I took up whittling/carving (pandemic hobbies right?) and while i am a generally pretty crafty person, I'm new to carving. After playing around and carving with other non-carving dedicated knives, I decided to get this knife, and it makes a difference! The sharp end is great for details, and the belly is great for taking off big chunks.

I love the set. Easy to hold and feel secure in the hand. Very sharp freshly opened. This is great you want sharp tools to carve with. But when you have not done it for as long as me, well I should have included cut resistant gloves with them. Over all, Have to say I am loving getting back into wood carving. Makes me feel like life's problems disappear when I am carving.

I used these knives to work on my wood carving project (I'm a first timer). I had eating utensils, plate, and a kuksa to put together. They worked so well right out of the box. I was really impressed at how sharp and balanced they were.

I recently purchased this palm carving tool and have to say it's become one of my favorite carving tools straight out of the package. I have carved a couple spoons with it and it just glides and sweeps through wood like butter.

I used it in carving a dipper bowl. It cut good but I thought if it had a knob or wider handle top for pushing it would be more comfortable on he palm but a good product. Still learning to use it as I just got it.

I just started whittling and carving a month ago and this is an excellent knife to whittle width. The large blade allows me to cut swathes of wood away easily and the point and sharpness allow for fine detail work.

So far so good. Seems super sharp, very comfortable handle, and a great value. It’s a week old, let’s see how she does in a year but I do believe this will be a solid and go to knife for me.

I bought this knife to finish carving up a walking stick. I didn't really need anything fancy so I went with this... but I had underestimated how much I would like this knife. It's so sharp, once I was done with my walking stick I use it for all sorts of odds and ends. Will definitely buy another if I need a new one at some point.

Just received the chisel, I am new to carving, so I can not compare to any other knife. Did carve a little and it seems fine. Very sharp and feels good when holding the knife in the learning process.

I thought my knives were sharp, but this was amazing!! I never enjoyed carving as much as I do with this knife! Excellent!! Thank you. I will buy more from this company!!!
