I absolutely loved this dress! It was very long, so I definitely had it hemmed (even with 2 1/2 inch heels). The fabric was great and the pleats added a really unique, yet sophisticated look. The color was beautiful and I felt like a queen wearing it. One watch area - the dress is VERY low cut. So make sure you have the right bra to wear under it. I attend several formal events a year and always have the best experience when I shop Mac Duggal, and this time was no different!

I wore this amazing dress for my daughter’s wedding, as the Mother of the Bride. It came in second place to the Bride herself. Alterations were made taking in the shoulders, shortening the sleeves, and a good four inches off the hem, as I am a petite. It was the most gorgeous dress I have ever worn! Heavy but comfortable, moveable, and easy to dance in, if you can imagine that. The little bit of trail behind was elegant, dramatic, and the perfect touch for this mid-January Wedding.

I bought a 18 and I thought it might be a little snug so I returned and bought a size 20. The 20 ended up being way too big so I returned it and purchased the 18 again. I’m going to wear it to my sons wedding in October. Needs to be adjusted in the shoulder and bust area and the length. Arms are a little wide so my tailor is going to make them a little tighter. Love the gown and love the color! Can’t wait to see the final results once it’s tailored and can’t wait to wear it at the wedding!

Wishing I had gone up in size (6 would’ve been better) since I will have to have someone help me zip the top half, and got on final sale. The zipper has a tiny pull, so not much to work with. For reference I’m 5’6” and 136 lbs (35x29x37). Heavy dress but quite comfortable on and will be beautiful for the white masquerade ball.
