In the end, I used 60mm lengths of 8mm aluminium dia tube, with a rawl plug hammered in at one end. Brass countersunk raised head slotted screw (longer than those supplied) screwed straight it that. Bought 2 more of these for a wine cabinet I'm refurbing to match same ones I bought a couple of months ago when doing same with the dresser. Very pleased, just a shame the matching Sunbeam knobs are no longer available, had to go to a different supplier, Infinity Decor via OnBuy.com to find something similar. But both times I've used Yester Home the service/delivery has been very good.

Really good quality and solid. Only slight niggle I ordered 4, I received the 4 but 3 of them had 2 screw holes and screws and the 4th had 4 screw holes and 2 screws. As it turns out I only used 3 on the board and the 4th I used on a door so not a problem. Could have done with the 2 extra screws but replaced with some I had already. Will be buying more stuff!

Brilliant fast service great product nice and sturdy nothing flimsy or cheap. Redecorated a bank of orange pine fitted wardrobes and wanted some nice sturdy knobs to replace the wooden ones that were on the doors.
