Tie arrived VERY quickly. It was packed in cellophane as was the lapel pin. I unpacked them to let the feathers fan out and breathe. The wooden box should make sure they aren't damaged during storage. I haven't worn it yet, but it is what I was expecting delivered much quicker than expected.

It is a distinct, formal wear accessory that I am sure will garner positive attention, but upon closer inspection it's quality is part at best. The feathers are situated as one very thin cover that blankets a stiff cloth like fabric fashion. So it's just not accurate to characterize as a bow tie made of feathers. Quality does definitely not equal the price. The feathers where cut so poorly that I had to recut them myself. They had edges, corners etc. And the boutonniere is even more poorly fabricated. I cannot use it like this. I even had to change a feather. The price is far too high for such a poor work.

Very disappointed with the boutonnière. The photo indicates a metal stem but I received it with a wood twig stem. I specifically asked that the stem be metal as shown on the photo but this was obviously ignored. The bow tie was fine.
