The mom is a purchase from 2023…she went broody. She is a natural to the new shipment of chicks that are soooo adorable. Five were mailed, one died 😢 but four are going strong. Love their chickens.

Arrived much faster then I expected, especially considering they were shipped during a blizzard!! Unfortunately, a few didn't survive during the frigid transit, but the rest are thriving and eagerly awaiting spring. Definitely plan to oder more varieties in the coming months.

We bought 3 Ayam Cemani and when they arrived we were eggstatic that we had a 4th healthy & lively Ayam Cemani plus a surprise chick which we think is a French Maran. The other amazing thing is they were shipped during our cold winter month and still survived the long trip and adjusted to life here easily.

The chicks came healthy and ready to eat. We have had them 8 days and they are doing great. These were replacements chicks, since in our original order we had a couple that passed away. We understand sometimes things happen and it’s out of the control of the breeder once they get to the post office. We were told they would replace our two that passed and we would get a mystery chick. Well to our surprise when we opened the box there was a total of 8 chicks.

10/10 would order from Feather Lover Farms again! My chicks arrived today and are happy in their brooder! I ordered 3 chicks, they sent 4, I’m sure to help ensure that I would get the three I ordered, alive on arrival and that worked out! It took some extra time for them to be shipped, but they are worth the wait! I'm in love with my new babies already! They arrived healthy and happy even in the freezing winter months. Can’t wait to see these babies fully grown!! Feather Lovers Farm has been so cooperative and understanding getting these babies to us! First shipment was sent back, second shipment did do well, but the third shipment was just right! FLF responded quickly everytime and had the best customer Service you could ask for. I have ordered 5 BCM, the hatchery was very nice to send me one extra. All chicks arrived very healthy, running around. They were not cold because of the exceptional packaging. I took a picture when they are almost 6 weeks old now. One looks a little different than the rest, but I still hope that there are at least 2 females. Thank you. Blessings to your farm.

We ordered 4 Ayam Cemani chicks. Unfortunately there was a delay at the post office so the chick's spent 3 days in route. They sent 5 chicks but unfortunately we lost one right away and despite our best effort, lost another a day later. We ended up with 3 healthy and beautiful chicks. We ordered 6 ayem cemanies and received 6 healthy beautiful birds. That was in April of 2013. It ended up being 3 roosters and 3 hens. We now have over 40 ayem cemanies and counting. All hatched have been perfect specimens. Great Farm! Great people! I'll be buying from them again.

I’m delighted with the Silver double laced barnevelder chicks! It did take more like 7 weeks to receive them and I was nervous about them shipping in late October when the temps were dropping. But they arrived well. Feather Lover’s Farm included an extra chick which I was glad to see as one is a little more lethargic than the rest. Get the flf bloodline they is very smart chicks and learn how to eat they food and drink they water; they even learn to do the chicken scratch on they own. These chicks are easy to handle and with just a little handling they calm down and are not giddish. I know they just chickens even though they are the rarest breed, but my two that I have are very exceptional.

This is my second time ordering paint silkies. This time I have only one little paint. I am almost certain I had 2 on shipping because one chic came with the almost white down that paints have. These are beautiful birds and I can’t say enough about how lovely the Frizzled Polish are! They’re bodies are buff colored having soft feathers tipped with creamy white lines. Their graceful and spare bodies are supported along with light grey long delicate legs. They’re confident natural foragers becoming very independent at about 4-6 weeks. Just got them home. I was very concerned because it took 3 days for them to get here. Went to the post office as soon as they opened this morning and I could hear them before they handed me the box. (Small post office). It was a wonderful sound! Five Seramas and an extra that looks like it could be a silkie! (Thank you FLF). The little all black feathered chick isn’t acting like he’s feeling well and I’m hoping he will be ok. All the others seem to be fine. Beautiful chicks!

I received 9 chicks in total after ordering 6. 3 black Zombie Easter Eggers, 2 lavender zombie and the rest either lavender Americana or lavender Olive eggars. Was super concerned as I'm on the other side of US (NJ), but chicks came in on the second day alive, active and noisy 😅 which was good to hear. I had everything ready to go for them, witch was a brooder,heat plate, food and water. First thing they did was eat drink and actually go under the heat plate to sleep 🥰. Next day they were so perky and happy, they are growing super fast. I must mention that I got sent few extra chicks for some reason, but that's a good problem to have I guess 😜.

I ordered my two Malaysian Serama along with 3 Indio Gigante. They were actually an after thought, but I emailed the farm and they added them to the order with no problem saving me a second shipping fee. They all arrived in the shipping month I selected. They were packed very well and arrived happy and healthy. They are tiny, not as small as quail, but definitely smaller than the average chicks here on our farm. I’ve never got ‘mail order chicks’ before and this was a fun and efficient way to go! They arrived within a few days of ordering in good condition to our local post office. They sent me an email saying they were shipped and the post office called me to say they were ready to pick up. I got a variety of colors and I’m excited to see them grow! So lucky to get an adorable *frizzled Serama* (that we named Toffee). Toffee is already so quirky and cute. I’m in love with my little frizzle!
