I’ve been working towards switching to safer/more natural self care products. Although this has a musty undertone, the lemon and vanilla make it smell so good, and the mustiness dissipates after applying. I had my young son smell my face after applying and he said I smelled good. As far as how well it work, I am sold!! My skin has never felt so smooth and glowy. Soooo luxurious. I’m in love with based balm! If you’re not used to a luscious sheen and gorgeous glow on your skin, then it could take a few applications to get used to it.
