I have always used the Stanley broom / dustpans they last for years when hung I recycle them to the outside for use on the porch / sidewalk and replace them the new broom is smaller and lighter weight I was not expecting should still do what expected. I do like the screw on handle with the new system I will only use this broom it cleans wonderfully

I wanted a tool to pick up crumbs without much effort when having a party. I thought this would be a good product since you bissell and put back in the closet. Emptying later. I also preferred this to a vacuum which is annoying when others are around. I used one in work so I knew I liked them, that being said, I was shocked how much this carpet sweeper picked up. I had these brooms back in the early 70’s. The bristles never broke down or spread out like todays brooms you buy in the big box stores. I was so happy to find out you could still purchase them. I’ve been using Stainless Steel Scrubber Pads for a couple years now and I love this product and that it doesn’t damage my pots, stove or any of my kitchen items that require a scrubbing. I purchased a Stanley broom similar to the one you just shipped me way back in 1987, except it has only 2 rows of brush, but I love it. Whenever it gets dirty I just drop it in sudsy warm water, let it dry and it's was ready to go again. However, my new broom picks up WAY more dirt than the old one. I LOVE IT!
