Took a little bit of trail and error to figure out the stitching work but once I did, I got into a groove and it was done pretty quickly after that. Totally refreshed the vibe of my interior, looks like a brand new wheel.

First things first, when I opened the package not only did it look high but it also felt high quality. Install took me just over 2 hours start to finish and I'm extremely pleased with how it turned out. Take your time and enjoy the results.

The kit came in with everything I needed. The high quality piece of leather that wraps over the original wheel fit perfect. It was my first time hand stitching a steering wheel wrap and it took me about 3 hours to get it all perfect. I did end up breaking the needle that came with the kit so I went to buy a pack of sewing needles. I took out the airbag and it was alot easier than trying to tuck it in while the airbag was on.

A definite improvement over the OEM plastic sport wheel.
Not too hard to do.
A couple of recommendations. A set of cheap "dental" picks to help pickup and tension the thread was handy.
Go to 1 -1 stitching (instead of skipping a stich) as soon as the curves to the spokes start.
Loosen but do not remove the T20 screws on teh back of the wheel to make it super easy to tuck the leather.
Do it! Much nicer!!!

First time doing. It takes a few hours. Wish it was a little bit tighter. I went back and redid the stitching. I overlapped the material under the stitch to pull it tighter In most spots. Completely changes the feel and look of the car. Now my friends want to me to do theirs too haha.

Wow, it's better than the factory wheel now! I almost can't believe it, and I even did it myself.
It's a little bit thicker too, making it feel a bit sportier, which I really like.
I hope the quality remains like that over the years.
I stitched it from one side to the other, skipping one thread and then returned in the opposite way, stitching the unused threads. This made a very tight, clean and strong seam and fit.
I also unmounted the steering wheel, which made it easier to do al the stitchin...

I highly recommend you watch some videos online before you install so you don't get confused by how the instructions try to explain the process. East detailing should make their own install videos on the website. Be aware that the tape they give you is optional. You can get it installed without it and it will be fine. I didn't use the double sided tape, but it seems stable enough.
I had a little bit of air pockets behind the left and right spokes, but it seems like they shrunk up after a while.

I was absolutely shocked by the quality and the precise fit of this product. My Subaru steering wheel has some crazy edges around the steering wheel control bezels. East Detailing did a great job with the design of the wrap. It fits the steering wheel perfectly.

Advise the ends that tuck into the steering wheel plastic be longer. Currently not tucked in at the 3 & 9 o'clock positions.
Steep learning curve. Online materials weren't very helpful for beginners. Learned many tips on my own.
Recommended to provide additional instructions for a better looking stitch pattern. Lower half of steering followed your stitch pattern. Upper half was my stitch pattern.

Steering wheel looks and feels fantastic!! Huge quality of life upgrade from the stock, rotting wheel. No more rough texture and black marks on my hands! Looks really premium and only for $60! Hope this wheel stands the test of time. Make sure to set a few hours aside cause getting it on does take quite a fair bit of patience, but overall, so worth it.

Wow what a difference this makes, my steering wheel is no longer an eye sore . Definitely recommend if your not willing to spend the $1000 plus dollars on a new steering wheel and aren’t afraid to do the work yourself. The work is a bit difficult and time consuming but in all honesty way worth it!!
