It doesn’t work so well with younger dogs but works really well with dogs over 2. It might just be the dogs don’t care since they’re younger. The dogs it does work on, it scared them at first and they hid. They got used to it after a few weeks.

My labradoodle is an “alarm” barker, it could be a squirrel, a bird or another dog but he had to tell me, LOUDLY. I had tried so many ways of getting him to not bark unnecessarily but nothing worked. Now that he is wearing his new collar, even if the deer are in the backyard, he lets me know much more subtly. I wish I had found this 3 years ago, I would have fewer gray hairs!!

My neighbors dogs would not stop barking and it was so obnoxious we were going crazy. Once we set up the bark control, it was clear it was going to work! Our dog developed the habit of alerting us whenever anyone walked or cycled past our house, but since using the Ultimate Bark Control collar we have noticed a huge reduction in the amount of barking that she does. I've increased the sensitivity very slowly, allowing her to get used to the collar and the results of her barking, and am now seeing great results. Not gonna lie... I was super sceptical about this but had become so desperate for sanity from the neighbours dog that I was willing to take the hit if it didn't work. Neighbor has a stubborn hound dog. I can tell when the batteries I put in it are dead because the dog barks more. With this thing the dog barks once then stops. He still barks but not as much. I just hope the dog doesn't lose his hearing anytime soon.

It has definitely helped, and I'm glad that I opted for the solar panel, as it is mounted far from any power, and high enough that I wouldn't want to change batteries all the time. I wish that it was a bit louder. One of the neighbors dog's is pretty persistent (little yapper) The bigger dog pretty much stopped barking, but the yapper still barks. We didn’t put it on automatic. When he barked we would tell him to stop he always does but then he picks up on it again that’s when he gets a remote reminder and it really works.
