I have four different mags Open Water spinning rods now I really like them they are extremely sensitive very light weight you can get technique specific ones and I also love the custom thread colors you can get they are high-end rods at a fair price

Im up to 7 Mags rods now. Hands down the best rods i own. The sensitivity is amazing but the way these rods load up is phenomenal. You never know what you're gonna catch on Lake Erie and these rods handle it all. I couldn't be happier

Power noodle… best rod on the planet for suspended crappie it detects the lightest bite… took this young man out and he started pulling them out one after another, thank you MAGS team for an amazing product!!!

Perfect for any species, have used them for just about everything, perch, browns, steelhead, splake, 40” pike etc. Sensitive enough tip to keep fish hooked in the jaw jacker until you get to it and enough backbone too fight larger fish. Love the rods, a lot. Buy one! *I have only used mine in the jaw jackers but I’m sure it would work good in the automatic fisherman or other hook setting devices.*

Ive got a walleye rod from you guys and absolutely love it! With 5 kids its tough to purchase more ! But im saving to buy another! Got a customer for life !

Ordered 11-6 spiral wrap for wife’s birthday. She loved it. Craftsmanship looks great. She’s only caught 1 on it so haven’t fully tested it but do far so good!

Excellent rod. Great company to work with and very responsive. If you want a dedicated rod for jigging lake trout this is the one. Also if you contact them you can get a custom build on this lake trout jigging blank. Also if anyone’s curious the 7’ rod has a total of about 21 1/2 inches of handle. The long handle is nice for extended battles and with that much handle the rod fishes like a shorter rod. It’s absolutely perfect.

Awesome rod! Great tip for finicky fish and transitions quickly to a solid backbone. Set the hook with the flick of a wrist! The power noodle has replaced about 4 rods in my bag

First time ever jigging for lake trout on Grand Traverse Bay. Used a buddy's set up which was the Mags 7'10" M/H trout/salmon rod. Caught a 32-inch laker & the rod managed the fish with ease. Ordered my own rod the following day!

I own couple of Mags power noodles I have been super impressed with. I found this rod in the bad ass build section. Purchased the rod and its first outing was at Burt Lake and then on to Drummond Island after Perch. Just like my other Mags rods, this one did not disappoint. Pairing this rod with a Diawa Legalis reel make this a really enjoyable, sensitive combo. My only regret is not buying one sooner. At least Ice season is right around the corner. Keep up the great work Mags Team!!

As soon as I got I put a reel on it and went fishing. It has great sensitivity and fun to get these big gills on. As u can c I got my limit on one of the local lakes. I’ll b getting another one soon.

New favorite rod. My wife told me I had a problem, I said I know everytime I get a new Mags rod I have a new favorite fishing rod. These rods are awesome! Keep up the great products Mags!

My first trip out to a lake at 10280 feet here in Colorado was a huge success, what a difference a custom rod feels in your hands compared to cheaper rod, with the all carbon rod,I could feel the bite clear down to my hand, I could not be happier with my purchase

First bout a Mags medium ice rod, loved it so much even before using it ordered an open water rod, loved that one so much I’m ordering another open water rod and soon will switch all my rods to Mags. Meet Pat and some of the crew at the Schaumburg fishing expo and bought the hat and hoodie the two friends I was with also purchased a rod and a reel because they saw my Mags rods and were very impressed with the quality and attention to detail. After moving to the Northwoods a few years ago I realized how important shopping local is. So I searched and found Mags Custom Rods just a couple hours away. Speedy shipping and I’m quite certain the customer service is top notch. Paired the carbon medium rod with a SeVIIn GS reel, excited to put her to work!

Got to use my new Carbon ice rod on the hardtop this last weekend. I absolutely love it!!! Hard to pick between it and the other Mags custom noodles I have. I had no issues with it in the flip over or hole hopping chasing crappie. Definitely recommend MAGS custom rods!

This rod has a strong enough backbone to handle bigger panfish extremely smooth while having a sensitive enough tip to detect the smallest bites when the fish are finicky. The rod is great quality the grip feels very comfortable I will be buying more of these rods in the future.

When these were released, I knew I had to try a couple for my Lake Erie trip. They were excellent for throwing Jigging Raps, Finishers, and Heavy Jigs with Crawlers in Deep Water. Shortly after, I took them to Green Bay, with the same great results throwing Shiver Minnows and Spoons. The Extra-Fast tip really gives these baits a popping action and sensitivity that is unmatched!

Pulled the trigger on a 7ft medium action spinning rod. The people at mags were more then happy to accommodate my special requests and knocked this rod out of the park. Killer cork handle and details throughout. The rod performed beautifully, so much so , I put my st croix down for the night. Extremely light comfortable, perfectly balanced and great sensitivity. A+

Love this rod. Twice I have fished Detroit River and the 6’2” was the perfect stick. Super sensitive, lightweight, and well balanced ! Use this rod over my $400 rod that is now the back up and ordered another mags !!

This is my second custom build with Mags and the rod turned out great. The Mags team worked with me and built this as a custom bait casting rod. It’s super lightweight and I love the soft feel of the reel seat and the Mags grips. I paired it up with a Team Lews Hyper Mag reel, so it’s a very lightweight combo that will allow me to fish all day with little to no fatigue.

I own several mags rods ice and summer rods. Their quality never ceases to amaze me. Their bottom bouncer rod is by far the best rod for the technique on the market. It is extremely light and has the perfect tip to detect the slightest bites while having the back bone to handle bigger fish.

The 32” MAGS medium is the perfect combination of sensitivity with plenty of backbone. It’s super lightweight and you can feel everything with this rod, anything from 1/8 oz. spoons to #7 rippin raps… 10/10 on the fit and finish.

Pat and MAGS rods are legit! The MAGS medium is a great rod for the Winnebago system! Soft enough tip to detect a little biting perch to enough backbone to bring Bago eyes topside!

This is my 3rd power noodle and 7th mags ice rod. The quality of these rods is amazing especially for them price point and the turn around time. This is a phenomenal panfish rod for small jigs and even small spoons.

I loved the medium action so much I had to order second one for the upcoming season. This rod is the perfect all round walleye rod. Perfect power and action for putting walleyes top side! The quality and craftsmanship of this rod is phenomenal!

Asked for Vikings theme as this will be a Xmas gift. Hit it out of the park, turned out awesome. My brief rod loading showed perfect parabolic curve for bottom bouncing as described.

Punches way above it's weight class with maximum sensitivity. I use it for basically every freshwater species. Very durable rod as well. My third med mod fast rod from pat.

Quality rod love the collaboration with Eskimo. 32 inch power noodle awesome sensitivity with the perfect backbone. Excellent rod for tungsten jigs and 1/16 once spoons. Great panfish rod but can handle the occasional walleye or bass. I will be back to purchase a custom walleye rod in future thanks mags Custom rods

This musky telescoping rod was my first MAGS purchase. I have several other rods from major manufacturers but this has become my go to rod. I just got back from Eagle Lake. I caught 5, all on the Mags rod. This fish 46" was caught in the 8, the rod had great backbone, was light enough to cast all day, and loaded beautiful on hook set. I casted everything from a bucktail, topwater, and a swim bait. I'm ordering another one immediately.

Have tried many different musky rod brands and lengths. The 9' 6" heavy fast is the best on the market. Makes for easy casts and enough flex in the rod to help fight the fish 10/10!

The rod is great! Love the grips you guys build, the flexibility is great for those big head shakes keeping the line tight. However the only playing wrong is the last three eyes on the pole are at a slightly different angle from the first couple eyes once you see it you can’t unsee it. I would say 4.5 out of 5 stars
