Bought this rod last year never got to use it with bad ice conditions and now the tip broke off. It was stored in my Lakewood case along with two other Mags rods and transported once. Other two rods have no damage. Seeing that it is a dead stick rod it isn't the end of the world missing the last 2" at the tip but very disappointing.
