I actually bought this way back when, and from then (in picture) to now, my SHRUNKEN....TIGHT....COILY HAIR is down to my chin! Eek!! I use this religiously with my avocado and fresh produce homemade, DIY based deep conditioner every week and I know in my heart of hearts that this combo with the Chebe is what has contributed THE MOST to my hair growth.

I am in love with this product!! This is freshly installed one week mini twist protective style. My scalp was tender when I first installed my mini twist but the castor oil with vitamin E has truly made a big difference, it stop the itchiness and tenderness. It’s like food to my scalp. I love it!!

I know the directions stated to use one teaspoon with 8 ounces of water. Although, after testing this cleanser, I believe 2 teaspoons with 8 ounces of water works best for my hair type. I love my experience with this product. This freshly installed one week mini twist protective style. My strands were weak but using the castor oil with Vitamin E I notice less shedding and my strands were a lot stronger. I incorporate the product in my loc method as a sealant. It smells wonderful and has the right consistency to seal my hair.

I realized I never did my initial review post from the first time I tried this at the end of March. I really like the way this smells. My hair was moisturized after the initial cleansing process. This product does offer slip, so it’s good with helping to detangle. I did pre-poo with a detangling session with Belle Bar tea rinse prior to washing. Overall, I like the product and we will see how the next few washes go.

This is one of my favorite oils. First time using it, I did think the smell was strong (but over time I've come not to notice it and think of it as herbally). I've been using the Castor Oil and Vitamin E serum to lock in moisture on my twist, and I really love this product. It is lightweight but still locks in moisture. I really enjoy the herbal scent. I noticed it continues to tame my frizz and defines my curls. It leaves my hair soft. Overall this is a wonderful product for protecting my tresses to lock in moisture.

I've been using the the Castor Oil and Vitamin C serum to lock in moisture on my mini twist, and I must say that it definitely locks in moisture. I also found that it helped to detangle my hair with ease. I did notice my hair is stretched when using this product which I personally love. The smell is still strong but goes away so overall it is a nice serum to use to lock in moisture for protective styles.

Love it! I have had my hair in twists for weeks (due to social distancing). Every morning, I do the LCO method - I put on some water, some cream and this oil. It keeps my hair moisturized and my ends looking much less frizzy. This weekend, I told the twists out with some of the oil coating my hands and got a bomb twist out - mostly no frizz. I didn’t leave my initial review from the end of March, so here is my initial thought process with this cleanser. It’s earthy smelling, which I do not mind. The product has not produced a lather for me, but I notice that my scalp feels clean and doesn’t have much buildup left behind. I would recommend the use a a strainer and application bottle for easier usage. Overall, I know that with another go, I may be able to like this more.

My scalp was left clean and refreshed after using the cleanser. I suggest using an applicator bottle so the cleanser can be applied easier to the scalp and then the hair strands. The product does have some slip, and I was able to detangle using a comb. My hair is soft and more moisturized than usual.

The Castor Oil & Vitamin E serum has been awesome with my regimen. I really prefer this oil for protective styling because it tames my frizz and I found that the moisture retention was highly effective. I also liked the oil being lightweight. This is side b. I believe The watermelon oil, Castile soap, and blueberry is helping prevent scalp buildup and a very clean scalp for a few days. Although my scalp is clean, its also very sensitive to products. I love how the cleanser is not greasy, its gentle and my braids stay moisturized. The scent of this cleanser is “perfumy “. This oil is growing on me. When I open it, I still get a strong whiff of the herbal smell but this is fine. I find that this oil really hydrates my scalp. The oil is a bit lighter and leave my hair more "coarse soft" . This oil hydrates my hair but I think a slightly thicker oil does the job better. I find that I get more stray hairs (not a big problem though). I wear my hair in a twist and I have 4bish texture. My hair is much more manageable with this oil.
