It took 6 wash days for my 4c low porosity to reap the benefits of using this black soap during this #longhairdontcare challenge. The hibiscus has my Salt&Pepper hair feeling softer. I used one tsp of soap & the shampoo does suds up so my hair is clean but it doesn't feel stripped. My silver strands are shiny. Some of my coils even clumped together.

But it wasn’t challenging at all because very clear instructions were given. It will lather slightly depending upon your hair but cleanses the hair and scalp beautifully. In wet hair I put my usual rice water leave in, curl cream, and sealed my hair with a dime size of the Argan cream emulsified using a spritz of water. I diffused till dry. I am very surprised at the hydration this tea rinse gives me. I used it after the chebe mask. My hair easily detangled using in wet hair after conditioning. I pair it only with Uncle Funkys Daughters Gel. Results are soft, defunded, and hydrated curls. I love that it doesn’t weigh my fine 3a/b curls. I normally need more products for definition and frizz.
