We have enjoyed Ouisi among adults, with a 13 year old, and with a 4 year old, there are so many fascinating entry points for all ages! Sometimes we are focused on the visual, and other times the conceptual. Fun and engaging for all!

I'm using OuiSi as a brain neuroplasticity therapy treatment. I developed a Limbic System Impairment from a chemical toxicity. To help rewire my brain I need to make a lot of new neuropathways. OuiSi is a fun way to challenge my brain in its thinking process, thus creating new positive neuropathways. Thus helping my brain to rewire and heal.

I purchased Ouisi to use in my art classroom, but since we are remote and the students don’t have access to the cards, I’ve created lessons where they take photos that make a connection! It’s been very successful in opening up their minds to all of the ways to make connections! They’ll hopefully be better prepared to play the game in person!

We have played lots of different ways with our Ouisi cards and had fun! We love the photos. One way we use them is we all pick a random 10 cards and then place them (like ouisi dominoes) and then tell the "judge" how they relate- the more imaginative the better and the judge picks the one ouisi bunch they like (or impressed with) the most.

The whole family loves this new game, especially our 8 1/2 year old daughter. Whether we’re following the directions or just doing our own thing, this game is a lot of fun. WE LOVE OUISI!!!! It is SUCH a great game for a wide range of ages and cognitive abilities! The girls love coming up with creative and "outside the box" ways to connect the images they see. We have never quite played the same way twice, and the rules are being made up by a kindergartener and a first grader, so every time is a fun new adventure! Our new favorite game for sure (and it's really easy to travel with)!

We love this game! It's beautiful and creative and open-ended. It encourages us all to see things in new ways and through one another's eyes. My 15 year old and 9 year old both enjoy it and so do I. What a wonderful and truly unique product.

We got this as a gift from Grandma and love it! With some direction our 4 year old was able to play by matching up similar photo cards. As he gets older it should open up a lot more options. He also just enjoyed looking at the photos without even playing anything. As another reviewer said, it'd be nice if more of the photos were more colorful (especially ones that are predominantly one color) since that's the easiest connection for the youngest players to make. I ordered this to share with my 7-year-old granddaughter on the strength of the reviews that I read. I really had no idea what to expect. From the moment we took the cards out, she was transfixed. We played with them almost the entire day and many days since. She is very verbal and loves to use them as storytelling prompts. But we also enjoy making matches based on color, shape, or function. These are beautifully made and packaged and I am very pleased.

My four year old loves playing with the OuiSi deck... in fact, the box is permanently open, because he’s constantly engaging another family member in a game. He’s getting great practice in sorting, identifying common patterns, and listening to other players’ perspectives. I use the OuiSi to stimulate new ways to come up with art designs. I first started with 3 cards and used my ReMarkable Tablet to draw the most interesting parts of the picture for each of the three cards then use those 3 new conceptualizations to create an abstracted sketch from all three. Originally I gave myself the excuse to buy ouisi to give to a 4 yr old nephew. But I decided to try it out for myself first. Since I live alone during Covid and I’m trying to play around with mixed media I decided to use the cards as inspiration for what’s called Art postcards. See attached.

Genius! This is such a cool game. My 5 year old has very imaginative ways to connect things and I love to hear her explanations! My daughter received this as a gift. We enjoy looking at the images on the cards, trying to figure out what they are and imagining what they resemble. We play a variety of ways with our 9 year old daughter, solo, and with adult friends. OuiSi is an open-ended multipurpose activity that promotes relaxation, conversation, exploration, and creativity. I was intrigued when I saw Ouisi and purchased it for my grandchildren ages 4 & 6. They loved it and each started out doing their own thing making connections and then turned to add to each other's connections. A game or activity with no rules, no winners and no losers allowed them to play and explore the photos without pressure. I was impressed by the quality of the cardstock and the beauty of the photos, so much so that I purchased a 2nd set for them to have at home. Nice to see them engage...

My husband and I were experimenting with this new kind of game, that’s not really a game but a vehicle for engagement and thinking outside the box. It was fun figuring out relationships of the different pictures, and picking out aspects such as color, pattern, texture. We are still figuring it out, and hope to bring it to the grandchildren and see what they make of it!

My mom and I are alot alike, and I've been personally curious about this game, so I decided to get one for my mom for Solstice, and we both have enjoyed it a couple times already- the images on the cards themselves are extremely diverse and interesting/ artistic, with lots of colors and patterns-I plan to get myself a deck in the near future! Would LOVE to see some expansion packs!!! Great for all ages, abilities, also great for artistic inspiration!

I have particularly enjoyed watching our 4-1/2 year old first figure out there are no wrong answers and then explode in his story telling while making associations. Today, he was matching cards that looked like they had faces on them, something I would never have considered. OuiSi is one of the easiest games to break out on short notice, with kids and adults alike. Everyone gets to tell their own story, which is intertwined with those of others. The more you play, the more creative you get and the more fun everyone has. I'm looking forward to playing again!

We love Ouisi!!! Just played with my 5-year old this morning! He had the idea to create a speed-round where the person to get rid of their cards first wins. So fun! Not only did we find some interesting connections (frayed rope connects to hair, coffee connects to doughnut, water bubbles connect to ice) but, even more importantly, we connected with each other :)

I play OuiSi with my father who has dementia. It is great for saying yes in a world that can frustrate him. He can match the pictures even when he cannot find the right word. We also play with his friends in the senior community and it is easy to explain and everyone has fun!
